I love Chippewa Animal Hospital. The new building is very nice and lean as well. The Doctor and the assistants are all kind and courteous. The staff and the Doctor explained everything to me about what they needed to do to my Louie. Thank you.

Make sure you ask for options when it comes to getting your medication while you are still in the building because you might walk out having spent an unnecessary amount and nothing can be done to rectify this after you have left. My husband took the dog in for the appointment and I discovered the pricing on chewy about an hour after. I asked to be able to save some money and was told no, it was a trade off for the convenience of being able to walk out with it today. Will not be back, which is sad because we really thought we had established good care for our dog and cat.

I highly recommend them! They take such good care of our dogs. They gave us a range estimate for our dog’s teeth extraction with a break down of the cost. They listen to our concerns. They are able to get us in supper quickly when our senior dogs have an issue. Their priority is ensuring our dogs stay happy and healthy.
Staff is supper friendly. I would give them infinity amount of stars rating if it were possible.

The staff is very warm and welcoming. They are extremely patient with my very reactive high strung dog.

Everyone has been incredibly nice and easy to work with. Within 5 minutes, the Dr. correctly diagnosed my cat's problem and the treatment is going great! I'm moving all of my animals to Chippewa Animal Hospital from a vet I've gone to for decades. Everyone at Chippewa Animal Hospital has shown me they care about myself and Big Boi! Thank you it's so great to have found a vet I can trust.

Tyger loves to go to the Vet! Dr Karslake is awesome sauce! Also, it feels good to me that everyone there addresses Tyger by name and he knows it'll be "TREAT CITY" from the staff... Lol

I first started going to Chippewa as a cat foster parent, and I was so impressed by their kindness and compassion that I switched my personal brood (I have more than a few) over to them. I would recommend the vets and the staff any day. They’re truly fantastic.

we took our younger cat to Dr Goss for behavioral issues we were having. She was getting aggressive and attacking us. Dr Goss helped rule out pain or health issues and worked with us to help ease our cats anxiety. He prescribed med and advised us to get some higher cat trees for her, adding an extra litter box and getting a Feliway plug in to help her relax. And it worked!! All these changes have made all the difference. Our cat is doing great, she rarely has anxious or aggressive episodes now and we're really grateful to Dr Goss's thorough and holistic care. The front staff are really warm and welcoming too. Love this place, thank you!

I’ve been taking my two lovely dogs to Chippewa Animal Hospital for 2-3 years now. I’ve always been pleased by the care and service received at our appointments.
But I am more than a little upset with my experience today.
As a registered nurse, I recognize the frustration that comes with computer/internet/technology systems failing. I’m all too familiar with paper charting and the delays that come with re-familiarizing ourselves with “outdated processes.” But when the staff here faced a similar challenge over the last 24 hours, it seemed to derail our entire visit today.
I can excuse the confusion over what to order or what processes to use to get bloodwork done, easily. As I said, I’m used to it.
What I cannot excuse is the behavior of the professionals at this office today. From arrival to departure, I felt like they saw my dog and I as nothing more than an inconvenience.
Reasons for this: Questioning whether or not to honor the appointment as soon as I walked in, showing me (without any words necessary) that they had no paper chart to reference to even find my dog’s age, rushing through our appointment, drawing blood and giving shots with little to no attempt at distraction (in the past they’ve used the pretzels and peanut butter clearly sitting on the counter at this visit), saying our appointment was over unless I had any questions - and I did- before I could even try to get a word in edgewise.
Look. I am a registered pediatric nurse. Even during times when computer-facilitated charting fails, I have always had the resources- across various hospitals- to care for my patients and their families appropriately. Patients and families come first; my own personal stress does NOT come into play.
Please learn from this. Grow from this. And do better for your patients. They deserve it.
