I had the most insane experience of my life today. I go into the branch after receiving a message that they were closing my accounts at Chase and provided no reason. I’ve had a relationship with chase bank for 17 years and just opened a new business account last week. I opened it made a deposit which was held because of the amount (which is normal) and went on with my life. Today after receiving the message I went into the bank and was told Chase was closing ALL my accounts and would never do business with me again and refused to 1. Give me my money in my account 2. Refused to provide a reason why. Meanwhile another guy was in the branch and called 911 because Chase had done something to him and mishandled his money as well. also one of my employees happen to also be in the same branch at the same time with her own issue and once I left they questioned her about me and how she knew me and who I was. Apparently Chase has a long standing history of flagging new business accounts as fraudulent for zero reason and closing the counts and refusing to return funds! Like this is a common occurrence with multiples FDIC complaints. Chase has at this point literally taken thousands and thousands of dollars from me. I’ve had to file a complaint against them with the FDIC and will be hiring counsel (I myself am an attorney) my office is less then a mile from this branch . Not related to the branch but the entire call center is outsourced I was hung up on like ten times today and was given a different answer as to what was going on by each person I talked to and was barely able to understand them. From what I gather they think the check my employer wrote my business is “fraudulent” and even though it’s not they don’t care they just close accounts and take the money. They lied and stated they couldn’t reach the bank the check was written from. I spoke with the VP of that bank and have proof the check cleared over a week ago and Chase never contacted them. When I offered this info to Chase they legit called me a liar and hung up on me! I was literally treated like I was Pablo Escobar trying to launder drug money today. DO NOT bank with Chase unless you like having your money stolen and being treated like a criminal

All the staff are extremely kind and informative! This is my favorite bank I have banked at before.

Only one staff member knows what they are doing - Chase has to be one of the most hands off organizations of all time, where the client has to do all of the work for the employees - no one, not a single employee is empowered to do their job. Jamie Dimon really should consider just visiting a typical branch during the week to see this in action, and I'm a big JP Morgan fan

I’ve used all the major banks here in the STL area and was so glad when Chase finally came on the scene because, honestly, their service and products far outmatch all of the other major players in town. Customer service is always top notch and their credit card and checking account perks and bonuses are unbeatable! We’ve opened multiple accounts with them now and frequently use their free notary services as well. :-)

I went to frontenac branch to open a high school account for my son. There were two bankers and one teller and I was the only customer. I told them they looked like they were all waiting for lunch and no one wanted to help. They told me to wait and started to discuss amongst

Chase Bank is providing funding for Enbridge to expand Line 3 pipeline. If completed, this pipeline would contribute as much to the climate crisis as 50 new coal-fired power plants. It would also endanger 800 wetlands and 200 waterways. It's time for Chase Bank to divest from the fossil fuel industry!

Chase is a major reason fossil fuel companies keep drilling. We must keep oil in the ground! Chase can afford to end these investments in dirty energy. CHASE: INVEST IN THE FUTURE OF THE PLANET. #TakeoverChase #StopTheMoneyPipeline

Chase Bank is providing funding for Enbridge to expand Line 3 pipeline. This expansion will traverse untouched wetlands and the treaty territory of Anishinaabe peoples, through the Mississippi River headwaters to the shore of Lake Superior. It violates treaty rights and threatens water and food sources. Avoid Chase until they stop immoral funding of environmental destruction.
