I would like to start with I never leave bad reviews anywhere but I feel like I have to. For starters, I switched to Cat Clinic because it was cats only and I felt like it would be better because they should specialize in cats and not have to deal with dogs when they were already scared (not that they have past issues). Plus they had great reviews. The office cats there are way worse than any dog i have had to deal with at the vet. All 4-5 vet trips there I had to deal with the office cats trying to attack my cats in their crate and they don't ever really do anything about it. I love cats and am glad they are homing some but they should know cats are territorial and they should be kept in the back. Then my cat got sick with FIC which is stress induced from us moving. He was sick due to stress and had to go to 2 days in a row even though the second trip he never was even taken out of the crate or put in a room. We talked to the vet in the waiting room while fighting off office cats (she did eventually put the cats in back this visit after they wouldnt give up). Went back with both cats for their annual and because the cat who was sick was having issues with not going in his litter box for the first time in his life after the fic flare up. They again said it was stress induced and was way more worried about tartar on their teeth. She wanted be to do bloodwork and then bring them back, put them under anesthesia for dental cleanings. Both cats are only 4 years old at this time, but fine, it was expensive but i was willing to do it only after the stress/pooping on the floor issue was resolved. They did the pre-procedure bloodwork which i paid for and put down a deposit for the procedure and scheduled it a few weeks out. About 5 days before the procedure is scheduled, my cat is finally seeming normal again, i decided i wanted to push it out a few weeks, so i called to reschedule it because i wanted to give him more time which i assumed they would understand but i was wrong. All I wanted to do was push it out but i was given total attitude about it that the doctor knows better about what the cats need. It was very off putting so I just canceled the whole thing, losing my deposit and just being done with the cat clinic. Fast forward 6 months later, I take them into a new vet to get established and mention the tarter and she said in exam that both of them have very little tarter and that a dental would be very unnecessary. Turns out cat clinic all seemed to just be a money grab. I see that they have a lot of good reviews but that was never my experience there. I drove 20 min each way to get there and really wanted to like it there but unfortunately that was not the case.

Dr. Cacciottoli and her team have exceptional clinical skills and provide compassionate care to my cats AND me. Whether I'm making end of life decisions for my geriatric babies or trying to foster bonds with my previously feral furry children, I calm myself knowing my babies are I are in the best hands possible. I'm thankful for them all!

All the doctors and staff at STL Cat Clinic are caring and helpful. They were very nice to me and even though i cried when they took a blood sample they gave me treats afterward so it was fine.-Tigger, the cat

My 2nd visit here with my senior cat Mr Smokey and am happy with the care he received. After having experienced other veterinary clinics who see multiple types of animals I feel he has better attention and care at this clinic because their focus is on cats. The staff is very knowledgeable.

Another vet told me my cat had NO parasites. Judging by several of my own observations I decided to have my cat seen by the cat clinic and they found 3 parasites that needed to be eradicated. My cats stools are much improved already after only a few days ov medications. I also like the way they treat their fur patients and also the the way they explain everything to the fir patients family. Also my cat appreciates the calm attitude in the cat clinic and NO fear of dogs!

I love this place! If I were a cat influencer, all my sponsored content would be about The Cat Clinic (and maybe "Da Bird" cat wand too haha). The prices are fair-- honestly lower than many of the other vets in the St Louis area-- and the care is exceptional. A cat-only clinic is much more comfortable for our cat! And I love that I can text the vet with quick questions during the day. I always leave the office feeling like all of my questions are answered, but it's such a comfort to know I can spend a minute sending a text if something comes up. The cat decor in the office is cute, the staff is friendly and passionate, and the vet is knowledgeable and warm. Couldn't ask for more! If we ever move away from St Louis, I'll be tempted to drive back just to take my cat here.

We really enjoy taking our cats here. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful and care about their kitty patients. Getting an appointment can typically be accomplished in a very reasonable timeframe. I have senior kitties who sometimes need extra care. They're good at giving multiple options for testing and explaining each one, what we might find out and what the benefit might be, while knowing that tests cost money, helping me balance cost and benefit. Then I also always feel like I understand the results of the tests and what that means moving forward, since they are patient about answering questions and clarifying information about care. All in all I feel like they are a very solid partner in taking care of my cats' health.

They did a really great job. I recently moved back to st louis and very skeptical about the abundance of vets.. These people here really did seem genuine about the care for my 15yr old Siamese and that is tremendous to me. Even with hard truths about not being able to travel with her ?, they were honest and straightforward. Explained all the costs and charges i would see on my bill. Highly recommended.

Professional, caring staff. They reviewed my cats records and were prepared to discuss my kitties health issues when i arrived. They ordered only needed services and did not put my kitties through excessive testing.

I struggled for a long time to find a vet that would properly care for my Phoebe. She is sensitive, a picky eater, and a single cat, and many vets just didn't spend the time with her that we needed. A lot of general vets also just do not understand cats like a cat-only vet does. Dr. C cares deeply about cats in general and about her patients. I started taking Phoebe to Dr. C after a summer of hell with her health. We were in and out of the emergency vet all summer, it felt like, and I felt that we needed a better and more thorough vet to monitor her health and make sure that we did not have something like that happen again. Dr. C is much better and far more thorough. Then, Phoebe was diagnosed as diabetic last fall (which I still suspect somehow had something to do with her health issues the summer before), and Dr. C only had to take one look at her walking low on her back legs to know that's what it was. We did the tests to confirm and she was right. I started Phoebe on different food, suggested by Dr. C, and insulin, and Phoebe is back to feeling and acting much more like herself. She has much more energy and "talks" to me now, like she used to. Now we are moving toward remission and managing her diabetes through diet only. All in all, I felt like a lot of other vets would just look at Phoebe and her seemingly never-ending list of ailments and shrug and send us on our way. Dr. C does not do that, and will try different things until something works. Phoebe hates going to the vet, and she always lets them know, but they treat her like one of their own. I live in the city, so it is a bit of a trip, but it's worth it 10x over. I can't recommend this practice highly enough, especially if you have struggled to get good care elsewhere.

Cat Clinic is great. My cats love it, even my high anxiety kitty does well, mainly because it is a calm, quiet atmosphere with no doggy smells and noises. The Doctor and staff are great and true cat lovers.
