Best used car buying experience I have ever had. The price was clearly stated and it was a surprisingly good value. Cleanest used car I have ever seen. We were able to add an extended warranty without sending the monthly payments thru the roof.

Major shoutout to Katie Mancuso at the South Lindbergh location in South County!! Katie helped my fiancé and I after going to a buy here pay here who was no help. Katie made sure our voices were heard and made it her diligence to help! She was so kind made the process super easy and pain free! She truly cares about her costumers and want to make sure they are in something they love. I love her personality and her passion to TRULY help others! My husband got his car through a CarMax trade-in a few years ago, and we had a great experience! So when I needed a new car, I wanted to do the same. We sold our vehicle in 45 min ! For the exact price we were given online. Not a penny less.
Everyone was very professional, friendly, and efficient. I never thought it would be this fast and easy. I wanted to avoid having to sell my car on FB or marketplace because buyers always argue the price or don't show up. I had bad memories of dealerships, and I remembered spending 5 to 6h in a lobby to do the paperwork, but Carmax was totally different. If I am ever on the market to purchase a vehicle, I know where I will be going first.

Our Carmax experience was straightforward and easy to navigate. Our associate, Zach, took great care of us- he communicated proactively and was knowledgeable and customer-oriented. He was. a pleasure to work with. The business office was also great to work with. Next time we are in the market for a car, we will definitely consider using Carmax again.

I'm a fan of Carmax over a few experiences with the mega chain dealer.
I took a car in for an appraisal and was promised within 30 minutes a price. I dealt with Branden who was friendly and professional. The store itself was clean and inviting.
In around 25 minutes I had an appraisal in my hand for more than I expected. The only thing necessary was to sign over the title. However I was not prepared yet.
I would recommend them for the sale of your car or a purchase from their lot. They have always been fair to me.
