Wonderful service and much better pricing than dealerships and other repair shops. Gravois Auto has on several occasions quoted me hundreds more than Car X for the same repair. Would definitely recommend this Car X

I went to CarX recently for a new tire. The reviews were mostly good, they were able to accommodate me same day and they were close to home. The employees seemed friendly and service was quick. The ended up having to order me a tire, which was fine and I had to come back next day. The tire was $245 which was honestly pretty expensive for the price of tires that I saw around me other places but I was just wanted the tire and to be over all of it. I came back the next day to get the tire installed and when they called me back to check out the mechanic found a list of things that had to be done to my car. On top of the tire:front brake pads, rotors, fuel flush, spark plug changes, etc etc. He turns the computer around for a $3800 estimate. I ask him what the brakes and tire would be since that would be priority and he marks the estimate down to around $950(I don't remember exactly, I just know it was over $900). I am shocked at the brakes needing work since I have not been having any issues, noticing any squeaking or griding etc and they were changed out completely less than 5 years ago. I explain to him how I simply cannot afford all of that right now. He's adamant that I make another appointment to fix the brakes because it's an safety issue and the rest we can make appointments for later. Keep in mind, his demeanor is still very kind at this point, but I feel like I am pushed to get this all done. I am not embarrassed to admit that when it comes to cars I am not the most educated, so all of these problems being thrown at me at once was, to be frank, very overwhelming. I only get my tire and leave. I go to a different well known auto shop, that I have used before for brakes, for a second opinion and they take a look at my car and tell me that there is nothing wrong with my front brakes. It is a shame that we are still taking advantage of young women who are uneducated and vulnerable. I know that this is a long, rambling review but honestly be warned if you're bringing your car here.

100% recommend these guys. I had a blown trailer tire due to A broken valve stem, and Although they were not able to help me because it was a weekend and we’re not able to locate the correct valve stem, they did however take the time to help me and remove the old tire that was ruined off of the rim for me. Great group of guys I really appreciate their help.

I went there last fall and got my tires fixed, which was them messing it up and I had to bring my car in a week later because it was flat. The employee stripped the lug nuts and apparently he was fired, but the employees don’t give you much information unless they’re tying to upsell some tires. I’ve had issues off and on since going there. They also detached my pressure sensors and told me it’d cost a lot to add them. Do not recommend.
