“Bryghtyn made this experience wonderful and was the biggest factor in helping me find *the* dress. I’m the biggest tomboy you can think of, I live in scrubs and t-shirts. I couldn’t tell a mermaid dress from a trumpet dress from a flute or whatever! She was able to narrow down what I wanted (which must’ve been hard, because I didn’t really know) and find 4-5 dresses to try on. It was truly like shopping with a girlfriend who was encouraging, kind and it relieved a lot of stress. Props to this girl, she knows what she’s doing and this job seems to be her passion. The selection of dresses was a lot more sophisticated (less prom dress-like) than other places I’d been, but the price range was still very reasonable. Ladies, def add Savvy to your list. If you reside in south city - you have no excuse! ❤️”

After visiting a few other bridal shops that were just not quite my “vibe,” I went to LoverGirl on a whim and found exactly what I was looking for. Ellen was so helpful and so patient! She let me try on so many styles and helped ensure that I found the perfect one. She even let me wait around a bit so my sister could come and see the dress, too.I just really didn’t think I wanted a wedding dress at all but going to Ellen’s shop made me realize I could find the perfect dress— I just needed to go to the right place! Her selection is curated and focused, which I loved. Many of the styles had customization options which she explained and showed me!I cannot recommend the whole experience enough and am so grateful that I found this place!”

Finally, I Googled "gowns near me" and was so happy to learn of Special Occasions by Paulette and Teddy. Paulette is the consummate professional, and she's also a joy to work with. She was matter-of-fact about what worked and what didn't. I went in there feeling drab, but ended up feeling like I could walk the red carpet at the Oscars! Paulette knew exactly what would work for me in spite of my various imperfections. I recommend her to the highest degree! I will never go to another shop for a special occasion dress when we have such a jewel here with Paulette.”
