I purchased a Dolphin succulent hanging plant from Bowood Farms in January and was very disappointed to discover the plant was infested with mealy bugs. I contacted the manager for an explanation how this could happen. His response was to spray it with insecticide but he did not think that it would recover. I have multiple succulents that are thriving in my home however, this plant did not. Therefore, I don't recommend purchasing succulents plants at this location..waste of money!

To call Boxwood Farms a nursery is to undersell this business. To call it a contemporary high end garden store would be a better description. Very tasteful pots, outdoor decorations as well as a good selection of exotic and outdoor plants would be more accurate. We did not try the restaurant which looks like it could be good.

I love Bowood. It is beautiful and has a restaurant attached to it -- Bowood by Niche. Apart from the wonderful plant selection they also offer fun classes in their studio. I've attended a couple and love them and my personal favorites have been terrarium planting and water color painting. Treat yourself or a friend to some plant friends, a cute brunch or one of their classes.

I do love brunch and I've had Boxwood by Niche on my Saint Louis list for quite some time and hit them up in May. The location of the eatery is in the Central West End section of Saint Louis. The neighborhood is a bit mixed and it sits on the edge of what has not been fully revitalized. Parking is off street by electronic meter. The warehouse brick building that combines food and floral was immediately pleasing to the eye. Signage is over the door. Once inside it's open with a greenhouse feel. Skylights bring in natural sunlight making it a space for flowers and plants to thrive. A hostess took our reservation. A really cool bar is directly in front of the doors. No reservation required here. We were led to a two seater with menus. This space also had flowing natural light. Our waiter followed up with introducing himself and provided water upon request. The menu was discussed and orders taken. My order of Eggs Benedict is likely the most popular menu item and was recommended by our waiter. I also got coffee. My son's order was pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. Dishes rolled out in around 15 minutes. My Eggs Benedict was described as sourdough toast, poached eggs, hollandaise, prosciutto, herbs, side of potatoes which were fingerling today. The dish included a micro salad. The plating was exquisite and matched by the incredible flavors. Hands down best Benedict I've ever had. My son reported an equally strong meal. The waiter follow up was a bit too relaxed on refills which is my only ding. However he was friendly and we liked him. The check was presented in a timely manner. The brunch fare was some of the strongest I've ever had. The atmosphere one if the most unique and although the service was not perfect it was well above average. I will return and look forward to trying other popular items. I recommend reservations on the Open Table app.

Having dined here twice, and being thrilled with every aspect of the experience, I thought it was time I left this review. The prices maybe a bit higher than other lunchtime establishments but it’s well worth it for all the extra’s; fresh flowers on each table, metal silverware, cloth napkins, full waiter service, airy environment, lovely decor. The food and drinks served were fresh and flavorful. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. Go early or make a reservation. There are indoor and outdoor seating options.

I went to the cute cafe inside this plant shop. The interior was super open and clean, had a bit of an industrial feel to it. &The dining area was very nice - booth/table/bar seating available. Street parking. I started strong with a baileys latte, and ordered the eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes for the table. Both were great. The side salad was super refreshing, and the potatoes were satisfying. The eggs Benedict themselves were amazing, especially with some crystal hot sauce. The blueberry pancakes are one of my friend's favorite items on the menu, and I can confirm it was a win. Service was very quick and friendly, and I'd easily come here again.
