Every experience I have had here is great! Shopping local has paid for itself over and over again when it comes to Big River Running Company! Staff is lovely, exchanges are easy, if they don’t have it-they will find it or order it for you! Love when my shoes wear out and I get to visit the lovely folks at Big River Running Company :)

After reading the reviews I chose to come here because it was close to home and why not, the reviews are good. As i was approaching the store two people were sitting inside, to which I thought one was a customer and the other a sales person. As I walk in both got up and walk away with one pointing in the other room saying "he'll be with you". Realizing both were sales reps for the store. Now, it's my off day and I look very comfortable today and so maybe I looked like I can't afford the items in the store but that was very off putting and just rude not to speak when a customer walks in your store. Now with that being said, Nick is the sales person who helped me and was very knowledgeable and took his time explaining to me the process as I'm a first time customer. He asked what I was looking for and what brands I was interested in and a whole slew of questions. Nick was really awesome to the point I bought insoles and didn't realize the price or care because his service was really great. I will definitely purchase from here again.

First (and probably only) review I've ever done. Stefon (apologize if I misspelled) was just great. My girlfriend found a shoe she liked but the color she wanted wasn't in stock, so he called both of BRRC's other stores and found it for us. He reserved those shoes at the other store so we could just swing by and pick it up...Just a great guy and good vibes.

This was the best customer service and shopping experience I've ever had! Stefaun was AMAZING!!! I'm not from the area, found the store from a google search and was very pleased that I checked them out. Definitely telling everyone I know about this place! Great selection and great prices as well! 5 stars for sure! I will be returning.

An incredibly positive first-time experience. Nearly every time I shop for any article of clothing, I dread it, it's unpleasant, and I'm mildly depressed for a day afterward. Not this time. Running shoes aren't cheap, and I EXPECTED to leave feeling vaguely cheated and unsure whether I made the right choice! BUT - with the friendly, knowledgeable, and personal service provided by Michael, I left feeling like I'd definitely gotten the exact right shoes for me, and like the price I paid was worth it. (Side note: I was curious and checked, and the price I paid for my shoes at Big River was identical to the price on Amazon, so this is a definite no-brainer.) If you want to start running and are intimidated by getting the correct shoes, this is the place to go. Thanks Michael, and thanks to whoever owns this joint for creating the "culture" that makes this possible.

In town from out of state. Didn't prepare for all the walking and ended up with sore feet and blisters. Woman working dove in to help without hesitation. Was pulling all different things off the shelves, even tying the shoes on for us. NEVER have had this kind of excellent service anywhere, yet alone for some shoes. Hate this place is over 5 hrs from home- or we would DEFINITELY return.

Stefon helped me for probably 2 hours finding 3 great pair of running shoes, socks, and inserts. He was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable when it comes to all things running. He made me feel very comfortable during the running assessment. I have been running in my new gear for about a month and it has all been awesome! Can’t say enough positive things about my experience here and with Stefon!

For my birthday this year, I decided that I needed to get healthy, and good walking shoes were my top priority. I had talked to several people about shoes to help my knees and to make me WANT to walk and had gotten several options but everyone was in agreement when it came to where to go to get fitted for the shoes. Everyone told me Big River Running. It was a great experience. Nick was awesome. He asked me why I wanted the shoes, the level I worked out, and if I knew what kind I wanted. I knew what kind but was open to his suggestions. Big River Running has a machine that shows your foot pressure when you walk. Nick answered all my questions, suggested that I may need some insoles (which I'm going back for soon... he was right) and was patient. I not only recommend Big River Running but also Nick! These shoes have changed my life!

Excellent customer service from Mark at the South City store today. He really listened to me and dialed right in to my perfect shoes. I have been a customer for years and I have tried other places, but the selection, service attitude, and their knowledge is just exceptional

Stopped into the store for my friend to get a pair of shoes and our associate Stefaun was AWESOME. So awesome that I decided to have my feet scanned and have shoes specially ordered. He was extremely helpful, kind, and overall a great person. Our time at Big River Running was well worth it and we plan to return in the future!
