Honestly,I stumbled upon this place when the big box stores consistently messed up my orders and deliveries. This place gives great advice and customer service. The lumber has been top notch, delivered right to your truck or project.Beyers Lumber has gained a loyal customer. I wish I could keep them my secret weapon, but when somethings this good you need to share it with the world.

Used to really like this lumber yard. Went to the new location, asked about Doug fir, the guy looked at me like I was asking for unicorn bone lumber. They don’t stock it, which would have been fine had the guy offered to order some (website says they can), but he didn’t even bother with that.

Beyers has unique wood sizes that I just can't find in the big box stores. They are super customer oriented and I have used them on many jobs. So glad they are around!

I had trouble getting my point across as to what I wanted done to the boards that I wanted ripped, needed to explain several times, I don't know maybe an off day, while they wore masks, they didn't cover both nose and mouth, even though the sign on the door talks about wearing masks

Good place with knowledgeble people to help. Has lots of materials for building decks, etc. Short delivery time comparing to big stores.

When you walk into this place it feels like you've just entered a funeral or the Twilight Zone. The staff are like zombies. I went there to get 61 pieces of 1x6 x 6 ft Cedar pickets and when I went out to the yard they were all split cracked Etc. When I went back inside to get a refund some chubby guy at the counter who could have walked right out of the Living Dead said he didn't know what to do he couldn't give me a refund. He finally called up the credit card company and was able to put it through after making me wait there 30 more minutes. When I went out to get the rest of my order the wood was all chewed up and something I wouldn't want if it was free. When I went back inside he begrudgingly gave me my refund. I can't imagine they can stay in business with product and Personnel like this. Hackmann Lumber in st-charles is not only much better service they have great product at almost half the price.
