The woman who works the family support office at this location has the absolute worst sense of professionalism. She refuses to do even the bare minimum of the tasks and responsibilities assigned to role. She needs an immediate performance review, if not replacement. The 2 stars I gave are for the kindness of the security guard and the fact that this location can provide the services listed given there's someone willing to perform the necessary tasks.

Saturday September 30th Better Family Life gave a community and small business support fair. They had several local businesses, food vendors, food trucks, live music entertainment and free Gatorade and water. It was really hot. The city provided emergency services for heat related situations. They offered sign up for various services for low income people.Everyone seemed to enjoy the experience.

Such a helpful and beautiful spirited staff, I have never felt like I belong anywhere, this place makes me want to be involved with anything they have going, because of all the resources they have to offer the community to help grow personally, financially and mentally. I legit love this place.

This place is so useless please help me understand how do you put a better family life in a predominantly low income troubled neighborhood and charge a arm and a leg for the programs for our youth. I visited on Tuesday evening to try to see what type of programs do they have for my 2 teens to try to keep them out trouble for the summer, I was told the only program that they had was summer camp a and the cost for the remaining weeks for summer camp would be $233 a child, most people that live in this area don't have that kind of money, which is the main reason most of us single low income parents choose to live in this neighborhood because it's all that we can afford . But anyway I explained that to the gentleman who told me about the summer program he took me downstairs to speak with the program to see if it was anything she could do, they all looked at me like I was crazy and told me sorry they couldn't help . Now what's interesting is I'm coming to a community asking for help with my two teens and I'm not getting it but God forbid in the wake of tragedy like the shooting that just happened downtown with the teens I swear they'll try to give you all the help in the world which is backwards because we come to you before the tragedy even strikes and are turned away which lets me know that you all do not care about our children and it's all about money , why not offer free or discounted programs for the low-income children in the neighborhood what's the point of it being there ?
