If only 0/5 were possible. When we lived in STL we used their tax filing services and were very happy with the results. Prior to leaving STL, we called the office to discuss the 2024 tax season. We encountered a receptionist who was very rude to us. I was absolutely shocked to hear her aggressive and dismissive tone as she spoke to my partner on the phone. To say the least, she was not helpful at all.About 6 months later, we reconsidered this office despite our negative encounter with the receptionist. We requested to speak with the male accountant who had initially helped us, but the receptionist told my partner that the office is short-staffed and would not be able to provide us services (*LIES*). Keep in mind that this is about 7 months prior to the tax season. I called her again requesting to speak to the accountant. One hour later, she returned my call and stated that she recognized my name because she had spoken to my partner earlier. She then told me that the accountant had declined to speak with us because he is not able to provide services because we are California residents (*LIES*). I asked her what other states are excluded from services and she stated, VA, NY. I assured her that we did not move to any of those states. She mentioned that my partner had informed her that we moved to California (*LIES*). My partner stated that he never mentioned that to her. After reassuring her that we are not residents of any of the aforementioned states, she still stated that the accountant will not provide services to California residents (If only I could insert an emoji here). At this point, she went on to state that some months ago, we spoke to her and expressed dissatisfaction with the accountant's services (*LIES*). I then realized that she was referring to the phone call we had with her several month earlier, where she was extremely rude and dismissive to us. I reassured her that at no point did we ever express dissatisfaction with the tax services, but in fact we were happy with the services and that is why we are calling back. I asked her to have the accountant give us a call because we wanted to speak with him directly, given these circumstances and my concerns that we were being misinformed and mislead by this receptionist. At the end of the day, I noted that the office had not returned my call and they were imminently closing. I decided to give them a call back and thankfully the accountant answered. When I tried explaining that we have been trying for so long to reach out to him but kept being turned away by the secretary, he stated that due to our dissatisfaction with previous services, he would no longer be working with us (*LIES*). Once again, I had to remind this account that we were happy with the services, but we once had a negative encounter with receptionist where she was rude and dismissive to us over the phone. He then told me that he has had several conversations with us, including with me, where we expressed dissatisfaction (*LIES*). This was absolute not true. I informed him that, I had never spoken to him before. I’m fact, I had not spoken to anyone in this office since our negative encounter with the receptionist. He went on to say that because of our behavior (*LIES*) he will decline to provide services. He then proceeded to yell over the phone and accused me of making accusations and hung up on me.As a physician, If I ever spoke to my pts the way this office has spoken to me and my partner, I would not have a job today.Customer service has gone out the window. My partner and I are kind people and we do not ask for trouble, but today, I had time. People in this office are rude to you then when you defend yourself, they hold personal grudges, make up lies/reasons to decline you services. This is purely discrimination. This is terrible for the business, and I do not think that the business owner would be pleased with this. Also something about this screams unlawful to me. Can't wait to get into contact with their corporate offices. Such a disgrace.

Literally the nicest people. My mom had gone to them for years and now my bf and i go to them. They always are able to help and answer questions. My bf uses them for taxes for his company as a trucker and book keeping.

We used B&B for the first time this year and Mary, the Accountant, did a excellent job for us! She had answers to our questions, gave us tips for future filings, and had a welcoming disposition. I definitely recommend this company.

September, 2017. I have been using B&B since 2008. All the staff there; Ann, Mary Kaye, and Anthony have offered me excellent service over all the years. I have recommended B&B to many other clients to include many of mine own clients. Thank you B&B.
