Went for a kitten, but none were available. Very nice place though with lots of cute cats.

Had an incredible adoption experience here! Very apparent that staff really knew and loved the dogs in their care. With small children and an existing dog they were such a help to find the right fit for our family.Additionally, staff gave our two little ones coloring pages and crayons and were so welcoming, friendly, and willing to answer any questions with honesty, details, and a smile.Big shoutout to Angel who gave our little ones headphones and fidget toys, allowed them to ask questions, and explained in such a sweet, child-friendly way about the animals, what to expect when walking though to see animals, etc. The staff really made the experience here. Thankful for all of their love and kindness for animals at APA Brentwood.

Have rescued multiple animals from this facility. They do good work snd are always pleasant and happy go see rescue return fir s visit. The clinic is great as long as its nothing serious or if tests and such are needed as they are not a full serve clinic. They are up front about this. Great place

I am so disappointed in the APA. We adopted one of the pups that came from the commercial breeding facility and he is so sick with kennel cough that turned into bronchitis. He has a 104 fever, eye discharge, green snot coming from his nose, and is the most lethargic puppy I’ve ever seen. We are at the emergency vet with him because the APA clinic was CLOSED yesterday because “the vet couldn’t make it in.” If you or anyone you know adopted a puppy or dog from this group, I’d be curious as to how the dog is doing as of now. This group of pups should’ve been kept an eye on for at least 1 week before being eligible for adoption. But the turn around time was so fast it’s ridiculous. Just to collect $400 a piece for each pup. Our dog arrived on October 4th, got vaccines the same day, including bordatella, which he now has!! And was literally neutered the next day without any recovery time from the vaccines. And available for adoption the following day. Please keep our guy in your thoughts and prayers. I hope he recovers from this! We want a long life with him. At this rate, the least they can do is reimburse us up to $500 of this vet visit, which I was told isn’t a guarantee. I will never rescue from the APA again.

Great place to adopt. They will let you adopt a dog even when you have kids. They don't discriminate like other places. The staff is knowledge, professional, friendly. Our dog will make a great addition to the family. It was an easy process we were in and out in less than an hour. Highly recommend.

They made it a very simple process adopting my new fur baby! Great experience. Monday's the adoption fees are 1/2 price btw... and they take careof everything for you ahead! All the shots... vaccs.. treatments... microchiping... it's a heck of a bang for your buck.

Had been looking to adopt a pet for months but most shelters are not only expensive (you're pretty much just buying the dog at that point) and have very extensive applications and requirements. APA is very straightforward and simple, you show up, choose the pet you like, do a meet and greet in a room and if you decide to bring them home, you just pay the fee and give them your ID. Was able to bring my two kittens home within minutes, they also gave their name tags for free as part of an event, thank you APA

Found a cat that was near death outside of a thrift store, some ladies fed at ravioli and it seemed to perk up. Because they couldn't actually take the cat anywhere and many places we're closing, I said I would take the cat to the APA in brentwood. I was met by a receptionist who had a really snotty, critical, and judgmental attitude. I had laundry in a laundromat and needed to get to it , and said that I was going to leave the animal there because I have three animals at home and can't take it. She said she didn't know if they could take it and I would be charged with animal abandonment if I left it. As I expected, they could take the cat, though she made sure to tell people working there that I was going to leave the cat if they couldn't take it. I went out of my way to do a kind thing, it took a lot of my time and money to bring the animal to them, and all I was met with was unkindness and a snotty attitude. Seems they're trying to deter people from helping animals. And I have no idea what that girls problem is, but she needs an attitude adjustment

Staff is very difficult and uneasy to work with. They don't seem to really care about dogs getting adopted. Especially the skinny burgundy haired girl very rude.

Came to view some dogs & enjoyed my experience. The staff was friendly, to great me as I walked in. Directed me where to find the animals, and even in the baby dog areas, an employee seemed very knowledgeable to what was included in the dogs price. I was kinda bummed to not know what breed any of the dogs were as the young ones were not listed. But always adorable. I'll definitely be coming back to purchase my new dog here.

My daughter adopted the absolute best senior ever. He was well trained, affectionate and playful. Thank you for Sampson.I adopted Apricot, now known as Scrappy. She was not very social when I brought her home. Now she is out of her shell and is a cuddle bug. She does beautiful with all 8 of my grands and she and Sampson love each other. They play and roll and chase each other for hours. Both of us were a little hesitant at the time we adopted because of the shelter personality we got coming from both dogs. But once they got home, their true personalitieS shine. Thanks APA for letting us adopt these lovelies.

APA Brentwood was very courteous to me. They told my niece and I that we were able to view their small dogs this afternoon. I was looking for a small dog or puppy . My beloved Cinday passed away two weeks ago and I found a wonderful dog that is 8 years old that needed a new home. They let us meet him in a separate room and they made out all the papers and took him home. They were all very nice and I would recommend their facility to anyone that is looking for a forever pet. I could not be happier tonight.

Wonderful group of people! I found an injured stray Pit Bull Terrier and took him to APA. The staff was extremely welcoming and everyone was so amazing with this poor traumatized pooch. Thank you to the staff and to Jenn! Really appreciate all you do!
