I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The apartment is a complete disaster—mold in the bathrooms, broken appliances, and constant pest infestations. Maintenance is nonexistent, and when they do show up (after weeks of waiting), they barely fix anything.
But the real nightmare is the management. The manager is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and clearly doesn't care about the residents. Any attempt to get help or even basic respect is met with hostility. They avoid calls, ignore emails, and when you finally get a hold of them, they're dismissive and condescending.
The building itself is falling apart, and it's clear that the management is just squeezing every penny out of this dump without putting anything back into it. Even one star feels like a waste for this place. Save yourself the headache and avoid this apartment at all costs!

For this place to be so expensive, I am absolutely SHOCKED at how my unit looked on the day of move in. When I arrived, I noticed that they did not clean my unit after the last tenant moved out. When I was shown the exact unit that I was going to live in (IN JUNE), I specifically mentioned direct damages that were apparent in the unit that needed to be fixed before I lived there. I was in contact with Jalisa when selecting this unit and although she was a great help throughout the leasing process (s/o to her for the great communication), the maintenance team did not deliver on what was communicated to me. I was told that they would fix said issues before I moved in. You can clearly see that they did not. The stove looks terrible. The walls have terrible patch jobs that are very visible. Ceiling fan broken. Spiders and cobwebs everywhere. They didn’t even repaint the place! There’s wall markings everywhere and chipped paint from where the last tenant had command strips and stains on the ceiling! There’s hair all over the bathroom cabinets. And unsealed cracks in the walls and baseboards. Lightbulbs are out in the kitchen. Old dirty pot under the sink to catch the water that is coming the LEAKING PIPES! You can tell no one thoroughly checked the unit after the tenant vacated. I am utterly disappointed in the state of this apartment. I paid 350 dollars for an early move in for Aug 1st and I was promised the unit would be ready by then and this unit has been vacant since May so there’s no excuse to why this apartment is like this.

Would be better and save a lot of time if they outright explained their pricing. Nice place otherwise. But there are many other units around the same size for less.

This place is VERY disappointing. The garage door has been broken for 2 months and has not been repaired. My car’s window is broken and the office refuse to reimburse the repair fee and says they have no responsibility to keep it safe.DO NOT LIVE HERE! NOT SAFE!

Living in 3949, has been a great experience, the building has great amenities like the patio, outside bbq, social room with pin pong tables and billiard tables. Service wise, the staff is very friendly, always available and ready to help with any situation that might arise.It’s on a great location, 5 minutes from the busier part of the CWE, and 10 min from main sport and event venues in downtown.

I’ve been living in 3949 Lindell since 2019 !!!!! It has been 4 years and all I have the say the staff are nice, the amenities are good and it s very convenient for the location. I get to use the computer lab all the time which is great. Thank you 3949 !!

I have been living here for about 2 1/2 years now and have no complaints! Great location, good layout, amenities, and both the office staff and maintenance team are very helpful! Relatively quiet community as well, which is great for both students and those who work from home!

The apartments are beautiful, not to mention the entire complex. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. The neighbors are all nice and it's a quiet, friendly place to live that is close to SLU!

My stay at 3949 Apartments has been excellent! The location is perfect for students, with easy access to the university. The on-site gym is a big plus for fitness enthusiasts. The 3949 team is incredibly helpful and responsive. Overall, a fantastic living experience! Highly recommend.

Wonderful staff and apartment. My apartment was refurbished when I moved in and in perfect condition. When I have a maintenance issue it is fixed in a timely manner. The only complaint is have is that the gym is not maintained very well (general cleaning) and it has taken a long time for broken equipment to be replaced.

A good place to live in the central west end, especially if you are a WashU or SLU student! The only complaint I have is the appliances are out of date so using them can be hard. Otherwise pretty clean and nice to live here!

I enjoy living here! The rooms are spacious and the view is great. The staff in the office are very nice as well. This apartment complex is located in a convenient spot and close to many stores.
