Everything is made from scratch and WOW, the quality, presentation and taste are all incredible. Belle Epoque is a cozy, ambient restaurant with a beautifully gourmet and unexpected worldwide menu that’s a wonderful addition to St Joseph. The breakfast and brunch menus are full of variety and the lunch and dinner menus are showstoppers! A concise cocktail and wine list finish off this absolute gem of a locally owned family business. I also LOVE that they’re open 7 days a week.

Small portions and most items overpriced. Lunch took 40 minutes to arrive. The French toast is very minimal, but my boyfriend did say it was delicious. Chicken salad that sounded great on the menu — tasted like a prepackaged sandwich from the airport. Pear salad had half a canned pear. Very cute spot that struggles with inconsistent food and slow service — although the servers were very pleasant and polite.

Had an absolutely stellar time. Food was fancy and atmosphere was very neat but I didn't feel under dressed in a polo and jeans. Stunning food front to back every dish I had from appetizer to dessert. I love the fact that the menu changes so it's always a surprise what you can get. Service was impeccable and everything was very clean and poshe

Stopped in on Saturday for lunch/brunch. I ordered the Reuben Bake and French Onion Soup. The Reuben Bake had no taste and it looked old, not fresh, and a glop of gravy ( I'm guessing) on top. Not really sure what that was about other than covering up the Reuben Bake. Totally tasteless! The onion soup was o.k., but I've had better flavor from the can. The bread was soggy and the cheese was almost an afterthought. Unfortunately bought one of the ham/cheese twists for $8.00 and there was no ham or cheese in the twist. The atmosphere is delightful and service was great, but food was less than what I expected it would be.

The ruben melt was wonderful, along with the salmon mousse. The dessert was the perfect touch to the meal. Very welcoming atmosphere and great customer service. Definitely will be going back soon!

Made reservations, has to move people. Over an hour to get food and had to pack up due to us needing to get back to work. Forgot soup and no silverware! Never again!

Brought granddaughter for a birthday season lunch. We each tried different dishes. A twist on Reuben sandwich was a Reuben bake, so good. One of my favorite soups is tomato basil, perfect amount of fresh and spice. Can’t wait to come back & try seasonal squash soup this winter. Dark chocolate tort with fresh cream & raspberries for desert. Everything was so delicious can’t wait to sample more items. Will definitely be back. Thank you chef Diana for a wonderful meal and experience.

Cafe Belle Epoche was once our favorite restaurant. We have been going there for years and loved the ambiance and the wait staff. I loved how you could get any side dish, soup or salad with any main dish. Two of my very favorites mains were the shrimp pasta with asparagus and the shepherds pie. These and most items were no longer on the menu. We went back to Belle Epoch after a trip to England and we’re surprised to see new staff. We were presented with new menus and told by the server that he was busy but would come back shortly. A female server showed up after about 5 minutes to take our order. I said we weren’t ready as we came for a specific menu item but in was no longer on the menu. The server said there was a change in ownership. We settled on some pumpkin biscuit ham sliders and the pear fig and burrata salad. The server asked us if the waiter told us were were out of the sliders and we said he did not. She said he should have. We then ordered the bacon milt on spent bread with our previously requested salad and waited about 10 minutes and we female server told us she had bad news. They were out of the bacon melt. She asked what else we would like and we said we would like to leave. We arrived at 1:00 pm which we thought was a reasonable time for lunch so did not expect shortages. We also noticed that the restaurant was fairly full yet only one table had food, everyone else seemed to be waiting. I told my sister in law who was a big fan of the original restaurant also. We have decided not to go back?.
