The Pony Express Museum was well done with many exhibits being offered. The day we were there there were people available to talk to about the exhibits...
Please note this building is where the horses were stabled... the post office is located inside the Patee House Museum a couple of blocks away...

I had low expectations for this museum but it was excellent. My family with 4 kids aged 3-12 loved it and begged to stay longer than we there there (about 90 minutes).
Very well done exhibits, hands on learning for kids, and the play area was great too.

I loved this museum. The information I never knew about the Pony Express was fascinating to learn. The employees that work there are so awesome! I loved seeing the old guns and saddles and packs. This was a great place to visit if you love history. The wooden horses were my favorite!!!
