3rd year I used OLT. Simple, clear, and the software figures out lots of things once you input your info about income, interest, etc Fed seems to always be free, State return was just $9.95.
Sadly, due to my own chaos, I forgot to enter 2 amounts when I first submitted the return. I realized it a few hours later, and the next day the site allowed me to start an amended return and I added the 2 amounts I originally forgot. Quite easy and straightforward. Before filing the amended return, they gave me the chance to look at and compare the amended vs. original. Also they listed on a separate page all the forms that were changed due to my amendments, so I could be sure I had done it right..

No help at all. They took my money and didn't file my state tax. No way to contact them to get them to transmit my forms. I will be penalized for their error. Useless company!

They have a phone which is invariably answered by a robot who hangs up on you without giving you the option to hold. I made a mistake on the PIN, ok, my fault, but to fix it I would have to do the entire thing over again. This site sucks

Used in a prior year and they have zero customer service line so it’s impossible to remedy any issue- even something as small as a forgotten or mistyped username. I would recommend to not use this service at all.

This is a fraudulent company! Please do not use this website. Your tax return will consistently get rejected. The IRS rep insisted it was an issue with the company, but OLT will insist that it's an issue with the IRS. Super unhelpful, and I'm certain this isn't a real site.

Don't use this for tax prep unless you are planning to paper file or have an IRS issued IP PIN. Customer service is very unhelpful.

1-20-24, 9:47pm. Just finished my taxes and this makes the third year in a row that I have used OLT. I have used a bunch of online tax filing services, Turbotax, HR Block, TaxAct and Tax Slayer. OLT by far is my favorite and easy to use and cheap !!

I have been using the software for a few years now to do my kids taxes and if you have simple tax files and make under $49k this software is awesome. It's simple, step by step, and if you file with wages under $41 k, as of this year, it's free!

Filed my first tax return with On-Line Taxes, and as a foreigner to the US they couldn’t have made the process simpler! Had an issue with my state return and the agent I spoke to online was so helpful and friendly, can’t recommend enough :)

OLT (OnLineTaxes) is the ONLY tax software that allows me to file out-of-state residency forms I need in every state where I do business. PLUS, instead of charging $532 for TurboTax to file in 7 states, OLT.com only charges $69.PLUS the customer support is available at ANY point from ANY screen, and the customer support people are knowledgeable, helpful, and able to research and answer questions quickly.Why would ANYONE get RIPPED OFF by INTUIT/TURBO TAX when OLT is easier, cheaper, more trustworthy, faster and has better support?My advice: Pay the $7 for support up front -- it's worth the investment.

I've used OLT to file my taxes the last few years, switching from H&R Block and Turbo Taxes. OLT is straight forward, easy to use, the same information as the big name companies, but they don't bombard my email account and their pricing has remained consistent. Highly recommended!

I have been using On-Line Taxes for 2 years now with no problems. Simple enough to answer some questions and do my taxes myself. Mine are not overly complex but the government tries to make it so difficult to do your own. These people help make it so you can do it yourself.
