La Petite is by far the best daycare in town. The teachers are amazing. They treat your kids like their own. They also teach your kids a lot before they go into kindergarten. My girls love La Petite.

I highly recommend Lapetite Academy! My son loves it here, he comes home just as joyful as I leave him. The teacher's are amazing. I get plenty of updates on things he is learning, as well as photos on the app. The environment is very clean and organized.

La Petite is an excellent school. My son has been going there since he was a year old. (2.5 years)The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The school is clean and organized. And most of all, my son is very happy there! My husband stays at home. So we weren’t forced to find childcare. We chose to put our son in school so he could get social skills, play with kids his age, build his immune system, and learn some things.I am one of THOSE moms…the kind that arrived to the tour with a checklist of questions to ask. (How many times do they do this? How often do they do that? Can I have a copy of your meal plan? Etc.) We toured about 8 schools in St. Joseph. La Petite stood above all the rest. It hit all my targets. Clean, organized, friendly, structured, happy, etc.One of my favorite things about La Petite is the app they use to keep in touch with parents. You can send them messages, they reply in the app. They post about everything… diaper changes, potty breaks, what he ate, how much he ate, activities, and PICTURES! When I travel for work, I LOVE seeing the pictures. Sometimes, when they know I’m travelling, they send extra pictures! I love the teachers at La Petite so much!Let me tell you, I have not always been the easiest parent to deal with. But La Petite staff has always gone above and beyond to make sure our son gets the best care.We started our time there with cloth diapers. The teachers stepped up and learned how to do it!Then at 19 months, we told them we were starting potty training. They didn’t have potty training in his current room, so they moved him to another room so he could potty train.During potty training, he didn’t wear underwear or pull ups. I know they were afraid of this going badly….but, once again, they took on the challenge and, with their help, he potty trained quickly and easily. I also dropped off special waterproof washable bags for his dirty clothes. They used them instead of wasting plastic bags.When I told them I was teaching him letters at 2.5 years old, they helped me by letting him be in the preschool room whenever there was room. In there, he not only got to learn his letters, but other “big kid” things as well. On days when he couldn’t fall asleep at naptime, they let him sit at the table and trace letters.My son is now 3.5 years old and can read. Not all of that success goes to La Petite because we also do reading lessons at home. But I know that there are thousands of things he has learned from his teachers and fellow classmates that I couldn’t have taught him myself. It’s a team effort and I’m thankful to have La Petite on my team!

What an incredible school and staff! We are very fortunate to be able to have our little guy enrolled at LaPetite. Every single person there is extraordinary to work with. They are caring and they are really embedded in your child’s development. They are invaluable to us !!!

I absolutely love La Petite! My children have gone there for the past 5 years and I would recommend them to anyone! I love that you get app updates with their food, naps and pictures. The staff there is amazing! The staff there is amazing!

Love this place, the whole staff know each child, even if they are in a different class. The kids get so much more than just a place to spend they day. They get education and enrichment in a caring environment. I love the app that they have so I get photos and updates on my kids day. I highly recommend.

I love it there the teachers keep you informed in the staff keep you informed of everything that goes on I keep you updated on your kids activities through the day they send pictures and my son was not talking or anything he was very shy and clingy and he is now talkin they work with them and he's doing a hundred percent I would recomto everyonemend it

La Petite Academy in Saint Joseph, MO is a place that a parent can leave their child and have no worries during the work day. The care center/pre-school provides a very clean and secure safe environment. There are few children in each room and the care givers and teachers keep the kids fresh diapered, well-fed, and entertained during the day. As if all that good care wasn't enough, there are plenty of arts and crafts, reading, and learning activities and a great fenced outdoor playground area even for the tiny toddlers. My son has learned to share and play friendly with others even at age one. The price may seem higher than some others, but not really when you count of all the learning and pre-school activities. I don't look for a daycare to seem like home to my child. I look for a clean and safe place that provides meals, fresh diapering, and constant monitoring. La Petite goes far beyond that concept.
