My dog appointment was last Sunday at 2 o’clock. I brought my dog on time. I get a cough for 10 minutes later to come pick my dog up because he was very fidgety or feisty, and that he bit the person that was trying to groom him. But also heard that the person that was doing my dog this was the first day, so why would you put a new person working on a senior dog? Then I was still at my doctor and never come back. How rude is that

I have my 19 month old Maltese groomed at this location. Dawn has groomed her past 3 times and does an EXCELLENT job. She cuts her exactly the way I ask. I’m very happy with the service and hope Dawn stays at this location for a vey long time. She’s great!!

Came into the store to purchase an item. The item on the Web said it was $69.99 but it was on sale for $49.99. Since I was just down the street I figured it would be easier to just come into the store. But when I got into the store that item was $79.99. And no sale.Needless to say, I stood there in the store, and placed my order on my phone. Which took a lot longer than just walking it up to the counter. I then had to track someone down and let them know that there was an order in their system. After that things went smoothly.On a sidenote, I did not purchase any new fish or coral, as I am into saltwater, because the selection seems to be 75% clown fish, and not much else

Only one worker was willing to help us adopt our hamster. He got stuck on the register and the other two workers were not apt or equip to handle a hamster. The worker that helped us get the hamster from cage grabbed at him and then the hamster bit him out of fear. I personally had to set the carrier box in the cage and gently help the hamster inside. When I did this there was a strong ammonia odor coming from the cage itself, which tells me the animals house had not been cleaned in over a week.

Everytime I come in here all the bugs are dead. EVEN CRICKETS!!! They never ever stock their worms. It’s rediculous. It’s December and there are dead worms from September

Zumbel location: Dawn in grooming is an arrogant individual. She came out when a groomer had a question and made her turn my dog away for mattes on his ears. She said I need to see a vet but my vet checked and said that is the groomers job and is not a medical issue. If she had not been so rude about it in the first place, I would not be so upset but she was. I called to tell her what the vet plus the groomer at St. Peters said (no problem), and she was again rude and said “that’s just how it is”. Being the day before thanksgiving, and being swamped with other dogs, I think was her reasoning with turning away as many as possible. Won’t go back there. St. Peters location is the best.

Impossible to get checked out at the place. Nobody works the cash register nobody’s around you can hardly find anybody.

Every time I get my dog groomed they charge a different price, this time I had to pay for extra fees I didn’t want, when I complained to manager he just sent be back to groomer who over charged me! Then they won’t answer phone when I called back to ask corporates number.

They take such poor care of the animals in their care. Far too many animals in a single cage and the ferret cage has what appears to be a few pounds of feces in the corner of their cage. With their history of how they used to treat the cats here before they stopped housing them this in infuriating but unsurprising. This is doubly ironic considering they play a PSA over their speakers every few minutes claiming that “At Petco, animals come first”.

Making me pay for a bag! Then had to return my item and did not get the refund for the bag. What the hell. The bag should have been refunded. Will not be shopping at Petco any more. This is the first and last time this will happen. What happened to good old customer service?

Staff was not friendly at all. If I hadn't needed the pet supplies and had time to go to another shop, I most likely would have. The 2 women working were to busy talking to each other to even acknowledge me as one started ringing up my purchase. When the second woman walked off, the one ringing up my purchase then began speaking to me. I also had to ask her about my vital care rewards as she obviously just wanted me out of her hair.Over all, the store has a good assortment of pet supplies. I was just disappointed in the service on May 2023 visit.
