Ben was extremely professional. We had something in every room of the house. He walked us through the process each and every time I was freaking out. He kept my sanity in check. The work is fantastic. From flooring, paint, shower install, vanity, toilets and was even able to patch in wallpaper. I've already referred him to friends. As a Veteran I had the opportunity to work at HandyVets for a little while until some unexpected health issues returned. Excellent group to work with. Reminded of my time in the Army. The camaraderie within the work crew was 2nd to none. Ben and Gene were both a plethora of knowledge in the construction field. I'd recommend their services as i know the standard is held at a professional level, as it should be. Keep up the hard work Ben!

We have been looking for a contractor to put a bathroom in our basement for my Vietnam Veteran Father in Law and I saw their truck as I was driving home one day. We called and Ben came out and was very nice and sent a bid to my wife.We were very happy to have a Veteran do our work and chose them over another contractor. Received a call from Ben two weeks ago saying he would come by and tell us what material to order. have made repeated calls to office and phone he called us from with no return calls.We are now back to square one looking for a contractor again.Service: Remodelling

I've worked with the HandyVets on several projects around our home. sheetrock work for a home office and a basement remodel. These guys are experienced, hard workers, and I trust Ben because he backs up what he says with action. I'll certainly have more projects for the HandyVets in the future and I would highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with HandyVets! Ken came and redid our bathroom floor and replaced our shower door. His attention to detail was impeccable and when I had a last minute request he talked me through my options and did everything he could to make sure we were happy.

We hired Handy Vets to paint our basement ceiling. Ben came out twice to estimate, once before we removed the drop ceiling and once after, so he viewed the ceiling completely unobstructed. We accepted the estimated cost, but after they painted, we noticed a lot of areas simply weren't completely coated. Ben asked if we wanted a second coat.... Well.. yes, we wanted the ceiling painted professionally. When we got the final invoice, we noticed he charged us labor for a second coat of paint. Seriously? It was a 47% overage in the labor estimate, and there are still areas that dont look right.

Saw their van as I was going to work. Told my husband about them as we have deck stairs in need of replacing. I did look at the reviews here before contacting them, but I was undeterred. It’s hard to please everyone and overall the comments were positive. We also want to support veterans, as my husband is one too. Long story short, my husband reached out to them about a month ago. We never received a reply. Maybe they are so busy they can’t take any new customers! Good for them. Or maybe it’s just poor customer service from the get go and luckily for us, we will take our business elsewhere.

One of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Every member is polite, courteous, honest, efficient, and most of all Professional. They know exactly what they are doing and the best way to do it. These guys are ALWAYS busy, yet some how they always seem to make you feel like you are the only customer they have. I have referred them to many friends and family and they have done nothing short of AMAZING work everytime. I'm not one to single out individuals usually because I know a company is a TEAM effort. However, Ben ( the owner) is honestly the most relaxed, professional, and courteous person I have ever dealt with. Anywhere, EVER. He really is a great guy who cares about his employees and the community equally. I have never seen him lose his cool no matter how much pressure he has been under or how bad things have gotten. I hope to deal more with this Company in the future as well as Ben personally. Thank You guys for you service and for all you do. You are all amazing guys.
