We had our wedding here and it was an amazing experience! The venue was beautiful and Greg made the entire experience easy and stress-free. The food was great too! I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Just participated in a wonderful happy hour sponsored by the St. Charles Chamber of commerce at this venue. Wonderful and friendly staff in a beautiful restored historic building. Beautiful place for social gatherings, receptions, or holiday parties.

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner here and it was great! Greg is super easy to work with and very responsive, he accommodated our tight schedule with ease, was very helpful and had some great suggestions. The food was delicious, we had a wonderful night and would highly recommend!!

We just want to thank Greg and his crew for making my husbands 50th better than we could have imagined!! Still not sure how he pulled this off for us. We ended up having to make a last second change of venue due to the extreme heat. He provided a beautiful space for us, coordinated food and drinks, communicated with our DJ, and even helped us put up our personal decorations we brought. Honestly, it was the little details. He just had a solution for every thing I wasn’t sure how to do. Communication was clear and everything was so simple.I might add that Greg worked all of this out while we went and celebrated our anniversary out of the country. Simply Amazing!! I wanted something nice to show my husband just how much I appreciate him. You made it better than nice. You made it special!! We will always be grateful. Thank you!!!

Came to this glorious hall right in the heart of the historic St. Charles district for a wedding and reception. It was glorious! The owner operator is a really great guy! He helped the wedding party by letting us in early to set up and was really supportive. Had a great night! And his drinks were definitely on point!

We had the pleasure of attending a professional, evening event. It was amazing. Quaint and inviting. Everyone was attentive and it was a very enjoyable evening. Highly recommend as a venue if you are looking for a personal or profession site. The catering was amazing and bar service was on point.

We had our 40th birthday party at this venue and it was great! Several guests from out of town commented on how unique and beautiful the venue was. The owners was very accommodating, allowing us to bring our own food and DJ into the event. You can tell he cares very much about the space!

The Grand Opera House is an excellent choice for your next event! It's very open, clean, lighted well and has polite and courteous staff. The owner, Greg Upchurch, will work with you to make your event a pleasant, happy and successful experience! You couldn't ask for a better location; right in the heart of downtown St. Charles, on the cobblestone Main Street! Every shop and restaurant you want to visit, is on the same road as Grand Opera House.
