I went into the store Friday and used my bank card, I used my debit card from my bank, I got it to stop the thieves. My card was declined but I was confused because I had just made a deposit. I went to Walgreens, Aldi and used the same card she(the cashier) said it was declined and she kept pushing buttons on her side but she don’t know I know that’s a scam that cashiers do to get cash back off of your card without you knowing it. She must have tried to get cash back with my purchase like 100.00 or something but that card is designed to stop the theft like this. If I decide to go back to this store that older white lady can NOT get my cards again because she’s a THIEF!

Cat, the cashier, was rude and stared at my son the tntire time while scanning my items. She made me uncomfortable. I will be avoiding this location for life.

Store closes at 9pm I rolled up to door at 8 55 ,, door is locked and employee is like a armed guard at the door I asked what time you close?she just stares at me, I said I just wanted to return the phone ,not shopping, again just stares at me with disgust. So I have been here it is now 9:10 pm and pretty sure the last customer just now finished up ,, this lady should be fired for locking up early and refusing customers

Oof. First time here in a year after my dad had a stroke and was at St Joe's for months. The cashier and manager complained about work the entire time, holding a conversation while checking me out, and another customer had to yell to get their attention to ask where something was... I will stick to the dg in Wentzville. This one is not worth a stop.

I shop DG because there are some food, household, and personal care items that I just don't care to park a football field away at Walmart and trudge through the store to buy the same, virtually the same, or equivalent item at twice the price. So, when I discover I'm out of antiperspirant or shave cream I head to DG, park in front of the store, grab what I want, and I'm out in a jiffy. This location also has refrigerated and frozen foods.

This sounds crazy but I saw on a local Instagram account that Doritos has come out with a Hot Mustard flavor chip. I love Doritos and I love Hot Mustard so they sounded amazing to me. I consulted Google who said they had been spotted at Dollar General. I was going to dinner on 5th street anyway on a weeknight and found that this Dollar location was about a mile from dinner so I stopped in afterwards. Score! They had three bags left of Hot Mustard Doritos. I bought 2 and a few other things and even used the self-checkout lane while 3 people were in the regular line. In case you were wondering the Doritos, to me, are amazing. I'll be back!

9-1-22, 9:30 am. Totally disorganized and shelves empty. 2 people on duty. One girl with long brown hair was outside smoking when I can in and outside smoking again 15 minutes later. She was on cell phone walking thru store. I heard her say work 60 hours and only getting paid for 48. Very sad. Everything I wanted shelves were empty. I won't go back. I use to shop there but no more.

What a great local store. I never made Dollar General a place to shop until I met their staff. Always more than helpful and will stop and got to the back to get what you need. Kudos to the management to hiring great friendly people!!

I love this dollar general because it seems small on the outside but its huge to me and the aisles arent narrow, theres enough space for two people to pass unlike some dollar stores that I go to. great place I got most of my furniture here and they seem to have rare stuff in stock all the time stuff I never see at shnucks or walmart
