From day one management was yelling, screaming, intimidating and threatening me, the tenant. For comparison, I lived at Marina for 8 years and not one single time did the manager raise her voice to me, yell at me, get angry with me or go ape shit. The slightly lower cost used to draw people in but is it really worth it when you can't get anything repaired and just for asking to get something repaired you get screened at? Do all the tenants actually tolerate this menace?

Apparently, you have be to be at least 25 years of age to rent from here, but it doesn’t say that anywhere on the website. I don’t get why they have to have such a stupid requirement. My husband and I meet all criteria, but are not 25. I asked to speak to the owner about it and was not allowed to saying that “this is rules and policy, everyone has to follow them.” Which is not what I asked, I asked to speak to the owner and as I was explaining my reasoning, Kendra cut me off. Very unprofessional, defensive for no reason and rude. If we have all the criteria needed, I don’t see why you can’t rent to someone under 25. Most ludicrous thing I have ever heard from an apartment. Honestly, probably dodged a bullet here as the reviews are not very good and the place looks outdated, probably isn’t worth the $625 a month.

Advertising unit available now and coming up within two weeks. Walked in and they said they have nothing available for the rest of 2022. How hard is it to update your website/ Zillow info so I don't waste my time?

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Roaches all in the building, mold in the closet they refused to deal with. The counters aren’t glued down and the ac only works half the time but they won’t fix it. Kendra is extremely rude. Could hear the upstairs neighbors peeing in the toilet and could hear them fighting every single night and management wouldn’t do anything even though they illegally had 4 kids living in the one bedroom apt. Laundry room looks like it’s from SAW and the machines don’t work half the time. The pool is also only open for a month

False advertisement on saying that were apartments available to rent when they were not. Customer service was terrible and very rude. Do not contact these people ever.

Very cheap apartments but overall not a bad experience. The inside is VERY outdated but for the price it’s honestly not THAT bad. The pool is super nice and the neighborhood is very quite. I would recommend to anyone on a tight budget.

Don’t waste your time. Management is extremely unprofessional. She hung up on us 3 times when we were simply trying to ask a few questions and get clarification on a few things. She had a very nasty attitude as well.

I just moved in about a month ago. Everyone is very friendly. The office manager has been nothing but nice to me. Only downfall is the air conditioning unit not being sufficient enough. Other than that I am having a good experience so far. It is not a “trash heap” as I saw someone write, it is just a cheap living space for people who need that during difficult times, or just because. I like it here so far.

These people will let their apartment managers screw over their tenants with no repercussions. My husband and I had a lease from April 2018 to April 2019. In November 2018 the office manager called us saying the rent was going up in 2019 and that if we planned on renewing our lease in April 2019, we could come in and renew in November to avoid it and lock in our current rent price. She specifically told us that the new lease would take over from the date we signed and would be effective from November 2018 to November 2019. My husband and I have already gotten a new place lined up for November only to find out that this manager lied to us and a bunch of other tenants. The lease we signed (which we did not receive a new copy of because she claimed the printer was broke) wouldn't take effect immediately, but rather in April 2019 when our previous lease ended. We were told we would be out in November 2019 and now we're stuck until April 2020. When contacting the higher offices, they told us we were liable even though we were lied to and as such they couldnt let us out of our lease. This is unacceptable beyond words. NEVER rent from Cabana West Apartments.

lived there for a year and half. it's ok. rent's cheap, small place, no dishwasher, the entire front wall is glass (former motel design) so it gets hot or cold as hell depending on the season, functional layout, mostly quiet, great location, maintenance was prompt when something was needed. Is the home of your dreams? no. But it works well enough for 1 or 2 people

We filled out the application. Paid our background check of $90 , $45 per person. The female manager said she would get back to us within two days. I went back two days later. She said check back after the weekend. I called back the following Monday. No return call. My wife went there in person. My wife said the manager was very rude and said she would call us and not to bother her. We got an apartment at another location. I will never recommend wasting money at Cabana West Apartments.
