I called to speak with a manager due to Carla’s weird behavior today. Carla has a lousy attitude she is acting as a heavy anchor on the thrifty team. She singled me out and gave me a hard time even with all of the documentation. I left without picking up the vehicle due to her hostile behavior. She needs better training and her customer service was the worse I’ve ever encountered. But due to me being black she assumed I smoked and it really aggravated me that she kept asking me about smoking. She tried everything to stop me from picking up the vehicle. After explaining I had full coverage and proving the documentation and her calling on speaker She still didn’t believe my insurance was valid. She also started questioning my husband if he would be driving the rental if so I wouldn’t be able to get it. I cut the conversation short canceled the reservation and went to budget. Weird encounter I’ll never recommend.

I mostly live and travel outside of the US, so I no longer own a car and I don't carry car insurance. When I visit family in the St Louis areas, I must rent a car. After making a reservation online and adding the extra insurance, I was informed when I got to the counter that I could not rent a vehicle unless I had my own car insurance. This was not only unexpected, but extremely inconvenient. I had to search several other rental companies online until I was able to find another car. Will not ever rent from Thrifty again!

I've been visiting this location for a few months and all the staff is always kind and friendly. I used to rent in another car rental but since visited this location I'm not going anywhere else. Thank you guys, you'll are the best!

We ended up at Thrifty after National screwed our trip up. I am so glad we did!! Thrifty was more affordable, less of a deposit, MUCH BETTER employees and the car was decent for what we needed. My only complaint would be it smelled like cigarettes in the car, but it did die down as the days went on. I wish I remembered the name of the nice gentleman who processed our return for us—he was so helpful and kind. If you’re in the need of a car, go to Thrifty!

We landed in St Louis after a long day of travel. Carla was really amazing to work with. She was so personable and friendly and was a joy to be around. We rented a car that was too small and she was able to get us into a rav4 suv that would fit our family more comfortably. Thank you Carla!!

They only rent cars to people who have “full personal insurance” which basically means foreigners can’t rent with them
Another pointless visit, back to the airport to get a Hertz car.

My overall experience was very good, if you don't see a bus, call the office, staff was friendly, the car they gave me had great value.
