$45 go a Kate spade purse, $60 for coach. Resellers can't buy at that price or even Half that price and make a profit. Heck I don't even think I'd buy at that price for myself unless it was rare.

If I could rate negative 10 I would! I dropped of 2 huge black bags of sanitation wipes at the drop off. My husband asked..."will you take these?" the gentleman in a blue shirt said "yes". It took me a minute to pull away and when I did I looked back in my mirror to see another gentleman come out, pick up the bags along with the other fella that said yes...and throwing them in their huge dumpster! There were at least 150-200 packages of sanitation wipes in there (that also kill covid). So I'm assuming since you guys thought you couldn't make a buck off them, you tossed them! How about first of all being honest so I could've given them to a daycare, school, anyone!!! Second of all..you couldn't put them in a big bin and put free on them?! As a person with a weakened immune system...a lot of folks like me could've really used those. I was trying to bless others who NEED them! I'm literally appalled! I'll never go here again and I will be telling everyone about this. If anyone doesn't want to believe me..go check out their dumpster!

This has to be the worst thrift store I’ve ever been in. There was nothing in there worth purchasing at all not even anything that held my attention very little on anything only a few racks as you can see. The neighborhood is totally sketchy..

Rude, Rude, Rude. I was downsizing. I had drop several donations off of very nice items, each time the people that greeted me were rude. The last time a young man took all my items (just grabbing them) and got to one of my items, shoved it back at me and said "we don't take junk!' I think St. Vincent De Paul is a good organization but that is the last time I will ever donate at that location. Unfortunately, even going into that location store, they do not greet you kindly and some of the staff are extremely rude. I live close by and will not go back to that location

Decent selection of clothing, some of NWT, shoes, purses, jewelry at reasonable prices. Lots of furniture and housewares. Mid century deviled egg and giardiniera tray is $3.25 as opposed to $20 at antique store.

I wont shop here anymore. Ive been coming her almost weekly for the past 3 years since moving to the area. Ive always had a great experience, love the workers. But today’s experience was so hurtful and heartbreaking and disrespectful I cant ever return. While shopping a few employees were chatting on a religious subject, I had heard something one man had said and gave a quick reply, it wasn't rude- my reply, just friendly talk. His response was “thanks for listening”. I was kind of hurt, but figured he wasn’t interested in talking. If you're having a conversation with many employees next to shoppers, you can expect them to hear what you're saying. I wish i could chime out others speaking, especially after today. But I cant.I continued shopping, minding my business. And he approached me wanting to talk about the subject again. He asked some questions, i gave answers. It ended up with him telling me my great grandfather who is schizophrenic, and my deceased grandmother should have been on a jerry springer show. Mocking their marriage, their children, and the 4 generations they helped create in my family. And then he ended his statement with “thanks for the story”. After I had answered the questions he had asked. I was already disturbed by this human from our first interaction. but his comments on my family were so hurtful. I immediately walked away and sat at the chair by the books in the back in order to calm myself from a panic attack. I purchased my items i had already grabbed then left. And then proceeded to cry in my car on the way home. Im so disturbed and upset. I wouldnt shop here ever again. And i wouldnt recommend anyone ever would. The past 3 years Ive loved the store greatly but this one experience has actually made me question who St Vincent DePaul hires.

Today, I went up there to use my warranty on my bed that I purchased years ago. The manager SAM was amazing!!!I called a day ago, around the morning time, asking what exactly do I need in order to honor the bed set warranty. (FYI: you need the tags from the bed/box spring and the receipt if you have it). Sam answered all of my questions and concerns. I even told him that I had this receipt on my fridge for a few years now. We chuckled. When I came in, I asked the young lady about the beds and she got her manager Sam. I said hi and I stated that I’m trying to get new beds from my warranty. He asked if I was the same lady from yesterday that he had spoken to. He even brought up the fact of me having my receipt on the fridge. I was like wow! He remembered. You have to know that we live a life that came be sometimes STRESSFUL and we tend to just forget about work after we clock out. So, for him to remember that detail after all the time we had between us, it’s a beautiful thing!

DO NOT SHOP HERE...if you would like a refund or a proper exchange. The store policy for returns do NOT say "if you purchase clothing you can only exchange for clothing." I tried take a return and get sheets in exchange but because I bought used clothIng with my money instead of a new item with the same money, I couldn't get the sheets. This could be a lawsuit! UPDATE YOUR POLICY TO REFLECT WHAT YOUR MANAGERS AND WORKERS ARE TOLD! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO ALSO THRIFT IN THE AREA!

THE STUFF IS DONATED GUYS YOU DON'T HAVE TO PRICE IT WITH ONLINE PRICES !!!!! IS GETTING TO BE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE TO BUY USED CLOTHES HERE . TODAY A JACKET PRICED AT $45!!!!!!! THE MANAGER IS OVER PRICING EVERYTHING BECAUSE I GO TO OTHER THRIFT STORES AND NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM , PLEASE CORRECT THAT BEFORE YOU HAVE TO CLOSE BECAUSE PEOPLE DONT WANT TO SHOP THERE . IS RIDICULOUS AND THE PRICES ARE TOO . THE EMPLOYEES ARE AWESOME BUT THE MANAGEMENT IS OVER PRICING STUFF AND THEY DONT CARE .

So I came to the Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store over here in st. Ann on st-charles Rock Road with no clue as to how I was going to fund a purchase for an outfit to start work that day. I walked in the store and ask one of the cashiers if there was any way that I could get a black polo shirt and a pair of pants and that I would give them everything I had in my pocket. Carol the woman working told me to go get what I needed and then bring it back up and we handle it there. After Iooking for a while I find a black polo shirt and a pair of pants and I bring it up there and she doesn't charge me she takes care of it removing a huge stress off my shoulders I've been humbled by the kindness of strangers the past few days from the bottom of my heart thank you Carol and I hope you have a great day. Forever grateful

In the late morning of 10/17/2022, the Caucasian cashier woman offered to put tape over a box which didn’t necessarily need for the customers who were not Asian in front of me and started a polite conversation with them. When it’s my turn, she stepped back when I was paying with card. The only two words/sentences she said to me was the amount I needed to pay and “here you go” when I bought China plates and I had to ask newspaper from her. She pulled back the other half of a page from me, saying “here you go”, did not bother to offer to wrap. I had to ask for paper from her while she put tape on a box which didn’t necessarily need for the other customers who were not Asian. She stepped back from me, pulled away a half of a page from me, didn’t provide any decent service and left me the other half saying “here you go.”I didn’t do anything wrong to deserve all her behaviors and really can not explain all her behaviors without her being racist. I never met a staff like her at any other St Vincent locations!
