This would have been a five star but unfortunately the helmet my 13 year old picked out was was double the price is was signed. Luke was awesome and helped us so much, he will be the reason we come back! He even thought the one we picked out was on sale and was very apologetic. I know black Friday is crazy and its hard to keep up with everything. Its just tough having a disappointed kiddo after what should have been a great time for him. (First dirt bike)

Picked up a new helmet couple days ago at this St. Louis store. Sales guy (don’t remember his name) was very knowledgeable in their selection and fitment. Have visited this store in StL previously & will return again in future visits

Very helpful people with experience. Very good selection in store and on website. Good deals too....I will continue using them for most of my gear and tires.

Excellent service, friendly staff and great selection. The only nit pick I could possibly give is that their location means their parking lot is only accessible from one direction on Lindbergh. Minor inconvenience to have such a great resource nearby.

Called three times throughout the week and spoke with someone about getting a tire change done on Sunday. They said that’s fine and I put my tire on hold. Rode down to the garage and ripped off the tires 45 minutes away. Called on Sunday to make sure we were still good to go after my tires were off already (yes I know they are FCFS basis). The lady who I spoke with on Sunday said “oh our tire guy doesn’t work on sunday.” Which I was very frustrated at because I spoke to someone all week about me coming in on Sunday and my bike had the wheels off already. So note that they do no change tires on Sunday. So minus one star for that. However, they took care of me first thing on Monday. With good service.I will also say, came in about 3 months ago to shop for my ladies new helmet. We did not buy one at cycle gear. The guys on the floor was more interested in what I rode and where I rode at rather than helping my gal get a size for her helmet and honestly ignored her because she wasn’t “bike knowledgeable” didn’t give her the time of day. I was not the customer for this interaction, she was. Wish they could have done more for her.

I have had communication purchase block for a couple years now. So many choices on the market and different opinions of what's best. Dave at cycle gear made it easy to pick one and even installed it in my helmet. Great customer service!

Very disappointed with this location. Specifically Brad and the store manager. I called the week before when I ordered tires, I was on a 15k+ mile trip and needed to do my fourth tire change. I asked at that time can I remove my wheels in the parking lot and take them in to be mounted. I was told yes. When I arrived initially one of the store employees said go ahead. Then Brad came out, and from the start he was difficult with every aspect of my tire change . He refused to allow me to remove my wheels and asked who told me that. When I told him it was a women but I don’t know her name, he proceeded to throw her and another women that works there under the bus. Blaming them for being new and not properly trained, even though I heard her ask another employee if it was ok while I was on the phone. Their large parking lot was empty and no other customers where at the store. I had to go to the bank behind their building, they allow me me to remove them. I then had to carry two 40lb wheels up a step hill and about 70 yards to the store in 104 degree heat. Once Brad and the manager competed the tire installation i returned down the hill and installed the wheels. After I installed them I noticed Brad didn’t remove the original weights from the rear wheel before balancing it. He added additional weights on the other side of the wheel. At this point I confronted him about it and he back peddled on his excuse for not doing it properly. Thankfully I do not live in this city, all of my other numerous Cycle Gear store purchases, including tire changes with me removing wheels at their locations has never been an issue. It seems this store manager and Brad are just a few bad apples. You’re bound to run into less customer service oriented employees at some point though. Thankfully I went down the road and had the rear wheel properly balanced at a different shop.

Very happy with my purchases and the assistance I received in the store. The salesperson was very patient and helpful. I just purchased a dirt bike and I also took advantage of the 20% off on one item offer. Thank you!

The staff is somewhat knowledgeable. Bought a ram mount, turns out it was a repackage, maybe a return, and doesn’t have all the pieces. Really great to find that out the day I leave for a 10 day trip. Total disappointment. They also don’t carry inventory of things in store that the website says they do. Take note to call ahead to see if the website is correct.

I went in to get my gear for my first bike as I’m taking the motorcycle safety course in August. Jimmy is the associate who helped me pick out my gear. He was very knowledgeable and wasn’t trying to get me to purchase the most expensive equipment as I’m going to be a new rider. He was a pleasure to talk to.5/5 stars for just being a chill dude and helping me out, and chatting with me about riding and whatnot. As a new rider, I’m a little lost as I’m learning. Definitely felt like I belonged in there if that makes sense. The store had a decent selection of equipment and it was a very well maintained.I’m sure I’ll be back for more as time goes on or equipment wears out.

Great experience as always! Bought tire online and had it shipped to store. Took wheel in and tire was mounted quickly even though they lost power.

Love the staff here, they all clearly know what they're talking about, they don't try to push unneeded products on us, and are super helpful. Only thing stopping a 5 star rating is that all the times I've gone, it's either 1 or 2 staff working total and they're ALWAYS super busy, so the customer can definitely expect a LONG wait time if you need help, or even just to check out sometimes.Staff helped me find and fit helmets for my wife and daughter, as well as order new pads for my own helmet (as they're not stocked in store), new visor for the helmet. And they pointed out (WITH MATH!) that I'd be saving money immediately if I purchased their fancy RPM program. They even immediately canceled the auto-renew, as they can just see that I'd need it again if I come in and it's expired. No need to let it auto-renew if I'm not using their services!Again, super helpful people, just too short staffed. Might be worth trying to hire a dedicated cashier, or just more staff in general, but I'm certainly not a business guru or anything.I'd only say to avoid this place IF AND ONLY IF you're in a hurry. If you have at least 30~45 minutes if you need help, then definitely, this is the place to go for motorcycle parts/gear.

Love this place, the people are friendly and knowledgeable of the products the sell. Take the time to make sure items are the correct fit, not pushy salesmen, and the store is new and clean. Going back to buy new shin guards. They are also doing some meet and greets with bike shows etc. Love this place!
