In August my wife and I stayed in the McCann room. Room was nice. For 2 people you would have thought more than 1 set of towels would be available (had to search house for towels as no one was there to help). The poorest breakfast I have ever had at a B&B (2 pancakes,2 pieces of over cooked bacon and small bowl of melon); had to wait for service and request drinks. Not impressed have had better service at a much lower cost at a discount motel.

My daughter and I spent two nights in the Benton Room in July 2023. Very spacious and cute room, with lots of interesting corners and an awesome clawfoot bath with lots of hot water. The house was amazing, so beautifully kept and decorated, as were the grounds. The staff were extremely friendly, and the breakfasts were tasty. Thank you for making our stay so special!

We had a nice stay in a very nice B and B.Cute old house nice bed. Drank wine on the back deck while disconnecting with the world. Great breakfast.Rooms: Historical rooms. Nice soft bed. Very comfortable, like staying in a family e tra room.

In May I spent 3 lovely nights in the McCann Room at the Walnut Street Inn Springfield, Missouri. Located in the Walnut Street historic district it is within easy walking distance to downtown restaurants. The staff is attentive and very friendly and special requests were cheerfully handled. The breakfasts are wonderful. The McCann Room, the original master bedroom, was beautifully furnished and very spacious. The gas fireplace was great on a cool, rainy night. I have stayed at many B&Bs and the Walnut Inn ranks with the best of them. I believe that you can’t go wrong staying at the Walnut Street Inn in Springfield.

When my hotel room was canceled before I arrived in town, I was blessed to find the Walnut Street Inn. Superb staff, excellent Chef and my wonderful room made for a relaxing time. It felt like I traveled back in time, but with all the amenities of today. Highly recommend when you are coming to Springfield, Mo. Across from the convention center and near the Downtown.

Booked this inn for a quick get away for my wife and I. The room, Danzero, was nice. The check inn process was easy. The breakfast was a welcome change from typical. We will be back when our schedules bring us to Springfield.

A perfect two night stay while I was in Springfield for business. Would definitely go back for R&R to enjoy the tranquility of the Walnut Inn, the amazing free breakfast and explore Springfield and the surrounding area.Rooms: Comfortable bed, spacious, loved the reading nook. High ceilings. Used the fire place and ceiling fan making the roim temp very just right.

We stayed in the carriage barn. The room had a fire place, jacuzzi, and a four post bed. We had such a relaxing time. The breakfast was very good. John did an excellent job cooking.Came back 8 months later and stayed in the McCann room. Loved it also. This room was a little noisy because it is in the front of the house by the stop sign. People sure love their loud vehicles. We brought a box fan from home so no worries.

Can't say enough about how nice the experience was. The comfortable bed, the jacuzzi and fireplace all awesome, the chef's breakfast was delicious, and the staff super friendly and helpful . We will return again.

Had a wonderful time for New Years Eve at this B&B! We loved how comfortable the bed was there and all the historical tributes throughout the house. We stayed in the Wilder room, and the private balcony gave a great view of the surrounding area with a slight breeze. They also had a delicious dinner for the occasion, complimentary drinks, and a savory breakfast! It really made our whole weekend memorable and special for a cozy, quiet holiday.

Cozy & welcoming!Second visit & would not want to stay anywhere else.Rarely do I get restful sleep - especially when staying away from home. The rooms are fantastic. Comfortable beds with super soft bedding. Best sleep ever! Awesome staff & phenomenal chef! Wish I could eat there everyday : 0 )

Absolutely wonderful 30th year anniversary experience! We stayed in the stable! You would have never guessed the room we had once housed horses! Well designed, every inch of this exquisite home was used with thoughtful expertise! This BnB was amazing! And the staff? Let's just say should you stay here you won't be disappointed!
