“Steve was very accommodating and understanding to our needs. The Estate sale went very smoothly and the house was left clean. He was very quick with his responses when needed. He made a very difficult transition for our family moving a loved one into assisted living go quickly and without added stress. We would highly recommend Steve and his team! He is a blessing!”
“I think this is the best thrift store in Springfield. It is much larger than it seems from the front because the building goes back a long way, but also turns and goes behind the dollar tree. It is a large store, and the prices are very low as a thrift store should be. Shirts are $1.50 and pants are three dollars. They are not open on Sundays but are open the other six days per week. It is mostly close, but there are some dishware and household goods.”
“For the most part it's pleasant and prices are unbeatable. I totally understand that a business has to protect it's assets. Not this last visit but the visit before last, a heavy set cashier screamed across the store about my "large bag" and that it needed to be left behind the counter. I get that!
But I'm a web designer, I have local clients. She implied that she assumed I was intending to steal. What if a prospective client were in there at that moment? And got the idea that I'm a thief.
I then stated "You don't make women leave their purses up here"! Which then she hesitated for like 30 seconds before she squeezed out some lame lie of a response.
Some men carry satchels, or man bags. We shouldn't be discriminated against because of our anatomy.
It's degrading and disrespectful.
If she would have asked quietly I'd of been not so defensive about it. I might have still raised the man/woman argument but it would have been a quick word for thought not a ABC news debate.”
“This is by far my favorite kids consignment sale as both a shopper and consignor! Why? I can sell all of my kids’ items at once. I get the largest return for my items that sell. I always find great prices for items we need or want. The selection is tremendous. The quality is superior to every other consignment sale I’ve been to. The take safety seriously and check all items for recalls. Additionally the people involved in the sale are amazing. They truly care about serving the community and do everything they can to make both the shopping and consigning experiences as easy and enjoyable as possible.”
“Such a cute shop! Lots to look at and the prices are great. They had a 50% off everything in the store when I visited. And I even got a little ring for free; the lady didn’t want me to run 50 cents on my card sweet ladies, sweet experience. ❤️”

313 E Battlefield Rd Suite F, Springfield“I just came to this thrift store for the first time and the prices are AMAZING. The most affordable thrift store I have been to in years and great selection of items. Next time I’m in Springfield, I’ll be back!”
“I practically furnished my entire house with furniture I found there at amazing prices. Additionally, I have found the staff to always be so friendly and helpful. This has earned them my top spot for Thrifting and antiquing here in Springfield.”
“I have been a customer of this shop for years and love every experience I have when I generate a new attitude by purchasing innovative ways to create peace in my life through this venue. Prices are a little high though, but if you come on the right day you may or may not receive a discount.”
“I had a great experience and will definitely be back again, I believe this is a family owned business who also owns the food truck in the lot out front- I haven’t tried yet but have heard great things. When we arrived we were greeted by a very sweet lady who helped us, asked if there was anything we were looking for ( we were just looking around for some unique antiques at the time so no help was needed and we continued around the store) we then met Layla which is the stores watchdog ? she has the biggest personality and assisted us throughout the store with a few stops for some pets. You hardly see people still motivated to work during this hard time- let alone be kind. Which is all we experienced here.”
“Had a really good experience especially because of Jaden! Had really good recommendations and turned me to their app as well. Just was super personable. Store was also super clean and well organized.”

3151 S Kansas Expy, Springfield“They've redone the floor plan and have added to the amount of things always on sale. It looks fantastic! They doubled the amount of shelves and clothes racks! I recommend giving them a try!”
“Wonderful costumer service!! Very friendly, I had a greeting as soon as I walked in and as I was leaving by the gentleman by the door. I almost left my phone and he even ran out to my car to make sure I didn't leave yet without it. The woman checking me out was so kind and conversational! I live out of town but I would love to come back again! The clothes and shoes are cute and range from multiple styles, anyone walking in would be able to find something they like.”
“I'm a regular here, since Red Racks is open longer hours than other thrift stores in the area. I spend probably $100-$150 on average here monthly. It's a clean store with appealing visual merchandising and well-organized sections. My favorite is the vintage section, which surprisingly often has plus size women's apparel! (Thank you to whoever donates this stuff in my size on the regular - I appreciate you for keeping my wardrobe fresh, funky, and interesting!) If you go on the right days of the week, the whole store is a treasure trove.Occasionally the store will seem borderline empty and picked over. I do think they need to be pickier with the kitchen section. I see flaking nonstick pots and pans almost every visit, and these are a health hazard. They keep the fast fashion (Shein, etc) to a limited percentage of the racks in the women's clothing, but I can tell when the store is short on inventory, because I see more fast fashion brands.Since there are a lot of problems with drug abuse and transients in the area, the bathrooms are locked, and you have to ask an employee to unlock it. If you have IBS or are disabled, might not be easy to find an employee with a bathroom key. I also wish they would bring back fitting rooms, as they only accept exchanges and not returns, but I assume this was for the same reasons. My only real gripe aside from bathrooms/fitting rooms is the pricing. A used mall brand T-shirt (Old Navy, Loft, American Eagle, etc) is often $8 or more; dirty used no-name shoe brands might be priced $15 or more. I don't know if they do it to discourage resellers, but it's often quite irritating. I still find bargains and their vintage section is VERY fairly priced compared to some stores, it just requires some savvy shopping. With that being said, Red Racks sends out coupons often, and if you join their loyalty program, you can accumulate discounts very quickly. Employees work their tails off and usually know how to stack discounts to get you the best deals.”
“Solid thrift store with a great discount for veterans. My son and I like to thrift together and we did really well on our visit to Red Racks. The staff was polite and had no problem helping us when we needed some assistance.”
“Bought a suit for my boyfriend last minute for a wedding. We were able to find exactly what we needed and the staff was super helpful and kind!! Can’t recommend this place enough.”
