A couple of weeks ago, I stepped into this salon after work. I walked in and around a partitioned wall, where the owner was washing a client's hair. I said I would like to talk to someone for a consultation on what I'd like to do to my hair. She told me to go the next day in the morning and "maybe 1 of the girls can help you". I said "I work. What time do you close or can I be seen at another time, like the weekend." Her response was that I should try another salon down the street (she mentioned the name but I don't remember)....maybe they could help me with my type of hair. ? She immediately discarded me. I want to think she said that bcuz I said I want to transition into the full head of grays that I have...and not anything else. So do you not have capable ladies at your salon?
I smiled, said thank you and proceeded towards the door. Before opening the door I said to my sister who was on the phone with me, "She obviously doesn't want my business here." It makes me wonder why this salon doesn't have recent reviews.
On to find a capable salon that won't shut me out for 'my type of hair'. And may I add, my hair is healthy, thinning yes, but very healthy for my 56 years of life. Good day!
