Since covid they haven't gone back to 24 hour access and that was a huge reason I came. 2nd and 3rd shift workers need the gym as well!

I love this gym! It’s close to home, very affordable, has great equipment, I love its hours and availability, and the people who utilize its facilities hold their judgement and make it an awesome place to carry out a fitness journey at. I do have some major concerns though:
1. I workout at 830 as I get off of work at 8pm. Due to this, I workout near closing. In my experience, several times over the last several weeks, staff have prioritized the cleaning of the gym over allowing members to utilize the equipment they are paying for. For example: While training back, I was sitting on the floor conducting seated bicep cable curls, the Planet Fitness Staff Member saw that me and my partner were utilizing that area and sitting directly on the ground and decided to clean that area with a floor cleaning machine anyways. This is inconsiderate and honestly not safe. Working out on a wet and slippery surface could increase the possibility for injury. I wish that Planet Fitness staff would reserve daily cleaning tasks for after closing.
2. I am a larger guy, me and my partner lift a lot of weight and workout really hard. We don’t yell or grunt, we don’t wear “bro tanks” or carry water gallons or any of the “gym bro” things, but we do workout hard. Due to this I believe, several staff members treat us much different than other gym members, they don’t speak, we receive very dirty looks, and we feel very judged during our time at this Planet Fitness location.
I would like to reiterate I love this gym. It is close to my home and I really enjoy working out here and Im hopeful that with this review I can gain the attention of the right people so these issues can be resolved. I don’t mean to create waves but would rather have these issues be resolved so I can continue doing business here, and if not resolved, warn others of the experience I am having currently.

Nothing I don’t love about it…. I swore I would never go to a gym because I have really bad anxiety and being around a lot of people makes me feel anxious… But the options they have and how convenient everything is and how you don’t have to see a lot of people while you’re there makes it very comfortable to go into Planet Fitness and you don’t feel judged! I went from being totally Against gyms To going every single day having my spouse, get a membership also bringing my children with me to join us! The customer service on W. Republic Rd. is just outstanding. They couldn’t have a better crew.!

The cleanest and friendliest club in the Springfield area. I have been a member since 2017 and will not change. The equipment is the nicest and very plentiful. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. Highly recommend for beginner, intermediate and professional gym goers.

Friendly staff, lots of good machines, hydromassage (my favorite), and so much more. Overall I'm more than pleased with this place and I come in often to better myself!

I absolutely will be coming back. The minute I walked in, I was welcomed by one of the workers, Jeweal, she was very kind and so helpful and she helped me navigate throughout the gym. Peter was also very helpful and encouraging at times. I did give this gym a four star, only because as I was walking out, I went up to the front desk to ask one of the employees some questions, at first she was on her phone and not acknowledging me, she was a shorter young lady and she gave me full attitude and wasn’t very helpful. Not sure of her name, but it made me a little concerned. Overall, if you are looking for somewhere to feel comfortable working out, I definitely recommend this place.

Jewel is the sweetest and nicest worker I've seen at planet fitness ! Peter is a Great trainer he showed me excellent workouts Jordan helped assist with workout also GREAT CREW !
