One of the items the store offers is a reduced soda fountain refill. I have many times been in the store and brought an empty with me just on the off chance an employee challenges me. I usually hold the empty up for the employees to see it when I come in the door. If they don't look I keep it with and take it to the counter.
Today I did this and told the employee I had a refill. Until they get to know me I do this. Then usually they throw the empty away in the trashcans they have on their side. But today one employee did not want to throw the trash away. I would have thrown the empty away over by the soda dispenser if they had looked as I came in. But this employee threatened to trespass me if I came in again and left the empty for them on their counter.
May seem like a small thing to most people, but what he's asking me to do is trust that he will acknowledge it's a refill if I just bring the new one up to the counter. When the previous employees who knew me worked there I did throw the empty away over by the dispenser. But previous employees are gone.

Todd, the store director is an amazing person who deserves his weight in gold. If anyone from corporate sees this he deserves some sort of recognition for just being a good person. I couldn't find a place to live so I left but out of all the places I went to find work only he took the time to talk to me and hear me out. He went out of his way to help me. I hate that I feel like I wasted his time doing so and in my short time knowing him I could tell he's a man of genuine compassion and empathy that you just have a hard time finding these days. The store was well taken care of and the employees I saw were in a good mood and that speaks volumes of his leadership skills. I even saw him taking out trash which is something you rarely see high level managers doing which shows he is a humble man of integrity. This is the best Kum & Go in Springfield. That aside, it's one of the few stores I found with a public sink to rinse out a coffee cup which any travelers should appreciate. If you're on the road I highly recommend this store and I know a thing or two about gas stations.

I didn't get his name but the manager working this morning was wonderful complimenting his employees and helping wherever he could as a manager myself I love to see it thank you for the wonderful experience!

Every time you go in there they’re always out of soda flavors and they have employees who have a horrible better than you attitude worse come and go in Springfield! The male and female employee working today, 01/21/2024. At 12:30, are the worst. The female has been known to argue with customers and thinks that she’s right and walks around with a high and mighty air. The mail took eggrolls out of the freezer to put on the roller with no gloves on and using tongues for cooked food with raw food is cross-contamination..

It seems like everyone here is complaining about Jesse but he has always been sweet and accomodating to me. All the employees at this location are friendly and helpful. Gas station work isn’t fun, these kids deserve a break.

Very poor service from Jesse tonight I just pulled in and finishing my cigarette before coming in to make my purchase of more cigarettes and he told me I needed to leave I wasn't there but 10 minutes before he tried telling me I was loitering and very rudely told me to leave you need to have better employees

The worker there a guy named Jessy or Jessie blond hair fair skin 5/7 tall gave a paying customer a hard time for parking in the parking lot he was looking for a fight with the customer so I called him and he ended up yelling screaming on the phone and hanging up repeatedly instead of giving a manager or a call back from the boss or owner so now I will escalate this to the main offices for Kim and go
