I highly recommend this place. Not only do they test their parts to make sure they work, they also warranty them, and have great prices. I don't see myself going anywhere else for any parts unless they just don't have a part I need in.

I bought an engine from Howard's that was “guaranteed†to run. If not, they take it back. I got there to pick it up and it's covered in old oil caked all over it from top to bottom. I took the guys word that said it ran when they took it out of the car it was in that had a bad transmission. I paid my mechanic to take my existing engine out and put the “guaranteed to run†engine in only to find it didn't run and couldn't have before removing it from the original car. I kno

I bought an engine from Howard's that was "guaranteed" to run. If not, they take it back. I got there to pick it up and it's covered in old oil caked all over it from top to bottom. I took the guys word that said it ran when they took it out of the car it was in that had a bad transmission. I paid my mechanic to take my existing engine out and put the "guaranteed to run" engine in only to find it didn't run and couldn't have before removing it from the original car. I know this because it had 3 of the 4 spark plugs completely burned up and two sensors not working. Once he got it running we found the water pump was leaking and the timing belt was making noise...so several shop hours later and $$$ in parts we finally have a engine that runs. We drive it home and check the oil daily for the first few days to find that it is getting lower each passing day with no sign of leaks. Turns out it's burning oil! Howard's said take it out and bring it back which sounds great except I've already paid to have the old engine removed, the "guaranteed" one put in and several hundred in parts and labor put into it. If only they'd have told me the truth from the beginning I could have replaced several of the parts and rebuilt it before installing it saving me hundreds of dollars or continued shopping for something that met my needs. They made a couple hundred off of me but I guarantee it will be the last money they make off of me. And I do stand behind my guarantee! Beware of these crooks. I won't recommend them to anyone!

This is one great place to get parts for your car. The employees are phenomenal. They helped me even put my tail light covers on and side mirror. I even used there tools. They came out and asked if I needed any further assistance. I was so happy for the help. They helped me pass my vehicle inspection report. Thanks Howard's salvage....

i bought my car through Howards! They were amazingly great people. Very tolerating of me and my horrible mood that day! Extremely helpful and sweet sweet people! Highly recommend anybody to go work and meet with this amazing team that works here!

Thank you Howards for finding the right part that finally fixed my car. I had the starter replaced a couple of times, and was still having the same problem. Now, the car starts Every Time I put the key in the ignition. Cold, Hot, rain, shine, I just needed the car to run and now it does.

So, I am an 18 year old female, and not gonna lie I don't know much about cars, anyway, I go and look at this car, it was very clean, appeared to be in good condition. They were super against me taking the car anywhere to have it looked at, but when I test drove I took it to O'Reillys. They poked around and said there was probably a coolant leak cause they could smell it. The engine had been pressure washed so you could see anything. Well, I ended up buying the car that the lady said was in good condition. As I'm filling out paper work, the lady said, “Make sure you check your oil everytime you put gas in your car.†And I'm excited so I didn't think anything of it. Turns out the car had a bad oil leak, was burning through coolant, and he only key they had was a valet key which won't open the trunk or the glove box, and they refused to go down in price. They totally screwed me.

I can't thank the folks at Howard's enough. They've gone above and beyond to take care of me and my car. I purchased a 2002 Hyundai Sonata that had some unforeseeable issues and they've done everything they can to help reconcile them. Kristy is the sweetest and will make you feel right at home. I could talk to her for hours. Thank you, Howard's. It's hard to find trustworthy people in this business. You've got mine now.
