They sold me a 500$ VR 2 as brand new but they opened it in store, and tell me I can't return it 12 hrs after I buy it because it has been opened when they r the ones that opened it . It was used as a display in their store but they said I had 7 days to return it but that was a lie they refused to refund me because it has been opened even though they sold it to me opened but lied to me and said it was brand new . But said it was used in store as a display .

My "new" Nintendo Switch had a 256gb micro SD card installed. Wonder when Nintendo started doing that ?. It also has wear on the back of the console itself and on the joycons.Check your products before you leave the store! I have a 32 minute drive one way to get to this store. Also the "new" pro controller I bought the seal was broken on the box and had the protective layer removed from the shiny top of the controller.

Never have I encountered such a rude hateful employee at a GameStop store. I wasn't even there all but five minutes and I could tell this person did not want to do their job. Smoking a cigarette outside the front doors when I walked up, I politely smiled and said hello and employee looking very put off that they had to go back into the store. Not a word was said to me not so much as a hello or welcome. I noticed the phone ring and instead of answering it the employee just hung up without answering. I could go on with a couple of more things but overall a very terrible service and again I wasn't even in there for 5 minutes. I've always enjoyed going to this store but I don't think I will be back after today. There's a couple more GameStops in town that are just fine. Sorry to be an inconvenience as a customer walking into your store

I used to have great service through all store locations in town. It's been sliding throughout the years. I pre-ordered Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and the Link Amiibo months ago and paid in full. Never received a call for either of them when they finally released. Luckily, I made it up there to grab the game but forgot I had pre-ordered the Amiibo a couple of days after release. Went back the next day to grab the Amiibo and they said they didn't have one at any Springfield location. Normally, I wouldn't hold policy against a company but I definitely received no call when they came in and no call before they sold my PAID IN FULL Amiibo a couple of days after it came in. The explanation I got was that the attending employee "didn't make the phone calls." I spend quite a bit of money through GameStop, as they were my primary. They're nowy last resort and I'll just start buying elsewhere online ?♂️ they were more than willing to help me with my refund though, so it could've been worse, I suppose.

The Manager here is AMAZING!!! I WAS so worried about getting a gift for my daughter. I called the store at 10am and he said they would help me. I got there After 5pm and HE WAS STILL THERE and he stayed over to make sure we got everything, including putting on a screen protector for us! Guys he's Awesome and so were all the other employees. One of my favorite places to go because of the customer service ❤️

The worst customer service experience I’ve had in a really long time. The assistant manager named Austin was completely unprofessional. They made the mistake of not adding in my game pro rewards and when I called him out on it, he insisted that I shouldn’t be upset about them keeping my 10 dollar reward. I earned that reward. Then he tried to excuse his poor behavior by saying I should be nicer because he’s had a bad day…completely not understanding that he escalated the situation by not trying or wanting to fix the mistake that was made on his store’s behalf. I was met with nothing but the poorest of the poor attitude from the moment he was asked to assist with the situation by another employee who was very professional and actually tried and did remedy the situation. He should be stripped of his job title and fired while she should take his spot. Who cares if you know about being an assistant manager when you don’t have a clue about exceptional customer service.

we talked to them on the phone and wanted to order a game but they did not tell us that we had to come in to the store and place the order. I am not very pleased.
