freezer don't work management is worthless they run hide you wait at register for 10 minutes all while there looking at you while there stocking or most just standing there there most of employees are so rude

The store is literally a waste of space and the companies money every time I go here it’s a 90% chance that you’ll be standing in line for 15 to 20 minutes and half the time they register shut down and they refused to reboot their system to check out the people who are already there and just tell everybody that the store is closed until tomorrow so they can go home early because they’ve already shut their other registered down and they can’t re-open it back up because they’re too lazy They have clearance rings up full price when you address the situation get snotty and rude and tell you I don’t know what to tell you that’s what it rang up. Horrible customer service store always goes bad there from the computers to their AC. It’s just insane the amount of problems the store has. I feel like it needs to be addressed because I’m tired of wasting my gas to drive there just to be told they can’t do anything , and having to rush to another Dollar General to grab a few necessities that I needed to grab absolutely ridiculous shopping. This place has officially lost my business.

I will not shop in this location of the 40 something year old redhead chick is working. She is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Everything she does is just such an inconvenience to her and she makes you feel like your a piece of garbage isyou need her to come to the register. What is she doing back there that's so much more important than doing her job. The rest of the staff is very good. Just the one that has no business talking to anyone with her judging eyes..

I am only 2 minutes from this store. Every time I go in, the employees are nowhere to be found. Several times, I’ve bought something that rang up for the wrong price than what was on the shelf, and at times products were in the wrong place. They early stock the items that we buy on a regular basis. It appears that they are always out of stuff.Today, was the last straw drawn, for me. I pull up and notice the parking lot is full. I get out and smell a strong Marijuana smell. I look over and 2 employees were standing at the back door smoking something…..no one else was outside because I looked around.I walk inside, and see a line of people and no one at the register. I walked out, and I called the corporate office right away and told them everything. I went to another dollar general and do not plan to return no matter hose close it is to home.

I have been here 2 times and the workers were rude to me and other customers. 3 customers laid their items down and walked out. You are loosing business......I would encourage you to be kinder.

I always thought it is so convenient to have this store on 266, but I just encountered a very very rude worker that was sitting in the office. I couldn’t find her. I was trying to buy a pack of cigarettes for my son, who by the way is 45 years old? I’m 65 years old and she was so rude like I was bothering her to do her job. She had a very bad unwelcoming unfriendly attitude. I ask for a certain kind of cigarettes she said they were out and got a different more expensive kind for me. I said what’s wrong with the six dollar cigarette which was the kind I ask for anyway. She got huffy got the keys out, acting all mad and went over to get the other cigarettes for me that were the cigarettes that I want to begin with because they are the cheaper kind. Again I’m 65 and look ever bit of 65. She said show me your ID I said it’s in the car and it’s freezing outside. She would not sale them to me. I know rules are rules but…. Sometimes when your this old it gets a little ridiculous. Plus she wasn’t nice about it at all she was gloating. I didn’t get the cigarettes and will never ever stop there again and be treated so rudely. This was Saturday the 18th at around 2pm.

Convenient store located on the outskirts of Springfield. They have all the items a typical Dollar General has but if you are from specific states or areas this one also has something you might not be used to in such stores, alcohol like beer and wine. That was a nice surprise during my stop here and I was able to save a trip elsewhere. They also had everything else I came for in stock. Checkout was simple and quick and the store was not too crowded. Overall, good store.

Very clean and well maintained store. Very friendly staff that's is actually helpful when needed. I know this particular Dollar General is brand new but this one is the best in the city. I would drive extra to shop here.
