If you are a business selling artwork or prints, save yourself a lot of frustration and look elsewhere for printing. Black River Imaging has some pretty significant problems. They’re using a severely outdated system for processing orders. I’ve given them my business for over a year. I was always shocked by how nonchalant they were about any issues that would come up on their end. There was never acknowledgement or accountability on their part. Nor was there any compassion for the impact those problems would have on my customers. Conversely, if there was a problem on my end - even something small - they would never "throw me a bone".
Now I’m currently navigating a situation where they claim to have not received one of my orders. Ironically, they charged me for this order they “didn’t receive”. Now, that order is late to my customer and I’ve been charged twice since I had to reupload. And, per the usual, no apology or accountability. I hope I get my money back. And I hope this review is helpful for anyone thinking about using them for drop shipping prints. Speaking of shipping, after only 30 minutes I found a printer whose shipping costs blow BRI out of the water (Drop shipping with BRI is consistently over $11+ for a shipment - that's even if you're sending one little print one state over!!!). So to summarize BRI: While their print quality is pretty good, their outdated system, egregious customer service, and expensive shipping are enough to steer clear from doing business with them.

I've been using this place for over 20 years, but the customer service is really not that good.When I found out that I had charged the invoice twice, I called and they told me to send them proof that I had been charged twice. They say they don't know how many times they charged. I think it would be a good idea to check how many times they charged here.

I have worked here and so enjoyed my time as the operater on the RDC, (rotary die cutter), and since I've last worked there I've heard they don't cut christmas cards, but it's still an awesome place and friendly folks.
