Helpful quick and easy. Went there to see what was wrong with my catalytic converter, however they couldn't truly find what was wrong with it but they still helped me out with some pointers.

I lost my lug-nut master key and needed a tire patch, and the staff working at A-1 were incredibly accommodating! They went above and beyond helping me look for it, and then found a solution that worked for me. I came in a couple of weeks later to have a new set of lug nuts put on the same tire (I did not have the tools to do this myself), and they did this free of charge in under 20 minutes. I got in right away! They were incredibly kind and considerate throughout the whole process! I will definitely be coming back for future car care.

They were able to diagnose and fix the issue very quickly on my Chevy Equinox. The staff and technician were very courteous and knowledgeable.

I took my truck here after another shop quoted me an astronomical fee (over $4000) to correct the check engine light (knock sensor). A-1 came up with the same diagnosis, but were confident that it was rodent damage to the wire harness not the actual knock sensor. Long story short, it cost me a third to get it fixed at A-1 custom care care as it would have at the other place. Thanks guys!

I would have done this sooner but could not find where to do this at…better late than never!
Last April I needed to get my car inspected for my registration. It was 2 days before I was set to leave for my son’s graduation from Marine boot camp in Camp Pendleton CA. I went to Midas on St Louis St and they quickly got me in. When they were done the guy told me he had to fail the inspection unless I let them change the 2 front end suspension control bars that were bad and that it would be about 1500 bucks! What?! But my car runs so smooth like gliding on air! I told him I cannot afford that and he threatened me and stated he was putting on the DMV log in their website that it failed and why and I would not be able to get my car registered until I had someone replace them.
Holy cow! I am a single mom of 5 kids how was I gonna come up with that and was I gonna loose my money I paid for my trip too? And most of all was I not going to be there for my son during this huge accomplishment in his life?!
I reached out to A-1 Custom Care because my mom ALWAYS trusted them, and I spoke to Gunner. He was awesome! He told me that the guy sounds like he was using a scare tactic used in many places to trick people into buying things they do not need. He told me to bring it in for an inspection and they will give me a second opinion on the suspension…..well to my utter disbelief but great relief there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my suspension control arms!!!
Thank God for Gunner and A-1 because I was able to get my car registered and ready for my daughter to drive while I was in California watching my boy turn into a man before my eyes! This proud Marine Mom thanks them from the bottom of my heart!

I had my 21 yr old truck towed to A-1 because my brakes went out after pulling out of my garage. Brake line collapsed and leaked so I had NO brakes. A-1 fixed me right up after having to replace the brake line. Reasonable price and down time so everything was great

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. All things you look for in an Auto Shop! My car died unexpectedly and they were able to get my car in, fixed, and back to me within 24 hours (from drop off to pick up). Highly recommended!

Inspection failed on brakes and ball joint. They wanted $1,300 to repair it so I went to another shop for a second opinion. The other shop passed it. I then went to the highway patrol to get verification. Highway patrol said the brakes weren't even close to a fail and the ball joint was a subjective call. I probably should have filed a complaint but decided this was a better way to get the word out. I think the whole system is flawed. The shops have an incentive to fail you. Inspections should be done by a third party that has no interest in the repair job.
