The service I recently received at Dave's Auto Body & Hot Rod Shop was the best I've experienced at any auto service establishment in memory. The owner, Robin, personally helped me with two service repairs, one of which—a brake light bulb outage—he had brought to my attention because I had overlooked it myself. He was conversational, friendly, and professional, and the work he performed on my vehicle was eminently good.
I'll share one anecdote from my visit that hopefully demonstrates the quality of the service and the attention to detail the shop offers. After popping the hood of my vehicle and fixing my headlight, but before turning his attention to the brake light bulb, Robin noticed that my hood bumper stops had become too depressed. Their depression was causing the hood to move while the vehicle was in motion even while the hood was fully latched. I didn't bring this issue to his attention. He noticed it during the course of his work and patiently fixed this problem, going back and forth from the hood to the hood release over the course of a few minutes to get the stops just right in order to ensure the hood would seal tightly.
As anyone knows who is interested in having auto body repairs done on their vehicle, this craft demands attention to detail and and a clear vision of the end results. But there is also a human element to the work that is just as important. The work isn’t done in a vacuum. It’s done with and for people, and Robin gets this principle perhaps better than anyone I've met who is working on cars.
Needless to say, I highly recommend the work of Dave's Auto Body & Hot Rod Shop and remain really grateful for the work they did for me.

These guys are absolutely superior!! My car was rear-ended and totaled, but I chose to buy it back and have Dave's do the repairs. Robin does such excellent work that it is impossible to see any damage! The only unfortunate situation I had was the driver who hit me has some fly-by-night insurance company and after 2.5 months, I went ahead and had Robin fix my car. He was so kind to me during the time as I was trying to deal with the insurance company. He kept my car locked up and safe during that time frame. I can't say enough good words for this place but do know if you give them the opportunity to work on your car, you will be as happy with them as I am. They deserve at 10+ but there are not that many stars offered in this review. They are the BEST!!!Services: Exhaust

The only place I’ll take my cars to. Did a full restoration of my 1969 Camaro, custom work to a few Audis and VW’s to include paint, and ceramic on some of my cars. These guys are top notch!!

I took my 2014 gmc in for rust repair and came out worse. I took back and still horrible. Will not ever use this shop again

I stopped in at Dave's Hot Rod Shop the other day and was pleasantly greeted and helped by everyone there. Including Robin who helped me fix my golf push cart, not quite a hot rod but I would trust them to fix anything here!
