I contacted animal control about a cat problem we have on our street, I was told to contact PAWS, and I did, and nothing was still done to fix the problem. If animal control and PAWS are not going to do their job, then why does Sikeston have them? They are wasting taxpayers' money that could be used be used for something else. My solution to the cat problem is to contact PETA or the Human Society of Missouri.

Horrible experience with a dog that got hit on I-50. Dog was hit a couple cars ahead and then dragged himself off road. I pulled over to check on the dog and called for the dog rescue to come. His back leg was severely injured and I myself could not take the dog due to the car completely full. It was pouring and cold, I put a blanket on the dog and waited an hour for someone to come and no one showed up. The dog died after an hour and then I get a call that they could not find the exit and mile marker 80.4 after I called them three times and told them. It was my first time driving through the state and just felt like they really just didn’t want to deal with it. Really disappointed of how it all happened.

This shelter adopted out a puppy to us that was infected with 2 different types of worms. He had blood in his stool and I took him to the vet they had been taking him to and found out this was an ongoing issue they Knew about. They refused to cover the vet bill from 4 days after adopting him to us for a condition they knew about.Don't go to this shelter.
