Great experience today. Liam in plumbing was especially helpful when I was purchasing a water heater. The store has a ton of options whenever we’re looking for hardware and I’ve away purchased a variety of tools from here.

Was in menards yesterday, I went to look at an item that I thought was in stock, having gone to website before. I had driven over 26 miles there because I wanted to look before purchasing. Store employee informed me it was special order, which website did not state. I was very upset and let employee know, I was angry not tactful. The employee immediately started raising her voice which only elevated my anger. She called a sub manager? While waiting for this person to and while looking the other way another employee rammed my cart with another cart sending it into me and over my foot. Her cart was so laden with boxes that she could not see around it, when she rammed my cart boxes fell everywhere. I don't remember if she apologized. By this time I was definitely irate and tried to tell her what she was doing was a safety hazard. Another employee helped her restack the boxes and continued down the aisle still unable to see.
The manager arrived and I told him about the incident, he was mild mannered and tried to deal with my problem. He tried to call the product manufacturer but no answer, so he sent an email stating he would call me with an answer. I asked about both employees, especially the one with the cart . He said both would be addressed. I doubt that anything happened since he has not contacted me. I rationalize that she hit me instead of someone using a walker or pregnant or a young child. But I'm up in age and more damage could have been done. Instead of employee fixing the fact that she could not see around the boxes she continued unsafely. She could have done real damage to someone yet no one seemed to care.

Very rude employee. Charge me extra and after I realized it's not a real sale price she was mean to me ...as I take her money from her pocket....

Placed an order on the Menards website for a chain-link fence gate. Came to pick it up, and when the guy finally answered the phone in the order pick up, he said he would get the order right out to me. He brings it out to me with a huge smash and the top of it making it unusable. Why was this not seen when it was loaded off the truck? Now I have a contractor coming tomorrow to install a fence gate that I don’t have. And the guy was not apologetic or anything, very clearly. He didn’t give a care. This is not the type of customer service I expect from a business I do business with. This will be my last order with Menards.

My husband and I went to Mernrds today to find a pole to put a handicap sign on . My husband had found it on there web site. There was a super nice worker named Kamryn back by the lawn and garden area. We was completely lost in the store and had no idea to where to even start looking for said item. I asked Kamryn would he help us look for our item and he didn't even hesitate to help, even though he was busy doing something else. We gave him the item number and he looked it on a handheld device.Not only did he look it up for us but walked us right to it. It saved us some much time and effort. He even offered to go get us a buggy. We was super amazed at his customer service. I really appreciated all the help he gave us. So thank you Kamryn for being willing to help us . And for actually loving what u do! Bc it really showed.

Seems like almost everything you buy here is broken, scratched, dented or just doesn’t work. Their customer services is below average and the return policy and how they handle it for the broken defects is horrible. Find somewhere better to shop and spend your money.

Do you just sell the s++t wood to people? I get there could be knot holes occasionally but with the cost of lumber, what you sold and delivered to us is ridiculous! Never again and I will never recommend you to anyone! Considering taking other actions!

I purchased 4 12 inch shelf brackets and got home to install them. Went to screw in the second bracket and noticed the bracket was different. Turns out it was from Walmart and it was probably stolen and returned. Manager said "we can't return this without the SKU" that's the sticker the thief scratched off when they returned it.... I let them keep the bracket and ate the 5.99 but I'm going to Lowe's from now on. Poor customer service and attention to detail...
