“Five stars for going postal: Over one month ago I moved from San Diego to another city in California. Two weeks before moving, at the local post office (San Diego's Ocean Beach USPS branch)) I handed a postal worker my address change info. I have yet to see one piece of mail forwarded to me. This failure from USPS has resulted in numerous complaints from both business contacts and personal correspondents, and in loss of subscription services (which I included in my forwarding info. Neither the Ocean Beach branch or the main branch of USPS San Diego answers their phone. Amazing what incompetence exists in a US government agency. Or perhaps not so amazing but to be expected. The buck ends with the Postmaster General. Is he/she/they reading Yelp”
“My experience at the Cape Girardeau Missouri store is always good but this time even more. I was frustrated with how my computer was running and really did not know what to do. A phone call to Technology Supervisor Tom Warren helped me so much and further help and explanation at the store helped me so much. My computer was fied within 24 hours. “I truly wish that post offices could be saved, as they're getting to be less common. All of my mail and shipping goes to a main post office, to ensure the best and most expedited service that's possible. I like dealing with a person, even if it's just having them to print off a prepaid label for a return.* I wish there was more business hours, especially on Saturdays!But the office workers are very helpful, informative, personable, ethical (very trustworthy), and THEY personally make your mailing/shipments a priority! They make sure that it's handled properly, is sent to the mail-sorting facility the same day, and MOST LIKELY; you mail is sent to a regional facilty that SAME DAY, if it's not a more local destination. Then if it is a more local destination, most likely it's delivered the next day that mail is delivered!Every post office that I've ever used, and especially the Scott City location; has a GREAT staff, service commitment, and expedites the handling so my mail-shipments are delivered ASAP. And, I can't express my appreciation enough! ?????? ⭐?⭐?⭐”
