I work at an animal shelter and foster neonatal kittens and puppies. When my foster kittens were diagnosed with campylobacter Neels was able to make the very specific medication they needed in less than 24 hours! Neonatal kittens can decline fast and I don’t think we would have been able to find this medicine anywhere else in such a short amount of time. I really appreciate them and will be sure to recommend them to everyone I know in vet med. Huge thank you from myself and kittens Nugget, Fry, and McDouble!

Family run business with their own compounding lab. Big Pharma would be bending me over a barrel without lube if they had their way, but I get something comparable but not available commercially for less than 1/10th the price of the commercial solution and I get to support a great local business.

As an independent healthcare provider, I can appreciate what it takes to remain independent and provide superior service. Neels Pharmacy is an excellent example that this is still possible. I have been doing business with Neels Pharmacy both personally and professionally for many years now. I am so thankful for this pharmacy! I have a severe gelatin allergy and they were able to compound a medication I needed same day and the pharmacist I spoke with was SO KIND & HELPFUL. Highly recommend.

Neels has been doing an amazing job of making a compounded liquid allergy medicine for my cat for 2 allergy seasons now. The staff is always friendly, and my prescription has never been late. I even used their delivery service once and had a great experience. Extra impressed when the young lady helping me last month recognized the tiger eye on my wrist beads. Seems like a well rounded team.

Always courteous. Always helpful. Great to have pharmacists who understand that not everyone wants to be held hostage by big pharma and offers healthier options rather than synthetic drugs for every ailment (that cause side effects requiring 5 other synthetic drugs). Not opposed to medicine when it's absolutely needed but it's not the only option - and often not the best one either. Thank you Neels! And thank you to my family member who recommended them.

Neels is amazing! I have been chronically ill with Lymes disease and co-infections for years. I travel 3 states to see the doctor who gave me my life back. But it is an ongoing fight and so I just recently came down for treatment again and Neels as always handles my multiple prescriptions with no problem. They are kind and understanding and do their best despite COVID and being short staffed to take care of all of their patients in a timely manner. I have been using them for over seven years and will continue to do so as long as I need to.

Unfortunately, our family had a terrible experience with Neel's and would not recommend using this pharmacy and will definitely let our doctor's office know. My son had three compounded medications he needed filled and Neel's was recommended so we decided to try them out. We normally use the Medicine Shoppe and have never had any issues and receive great customer service. The scripts were called out to Neel's on December 3rd. We were told by the doctor's office to give them a few days because they may be a little backed up. We never heard from Neel's, so my son called and politely tried to inquire about his scripts. This was the week of the 14th of December. Whoever he spoke to was very short and stated that they had a stack of 500 prescriptions sitting there and it would be several weeks before they would get through them and that they could not take the time to look where his was in the stack. He said thank you and hung up. It is now 2 weeks later and nothing. We called the doctor's office and they called Neel's. Neel's said they reached out to my son via phone call and never heard from him so they didn't fill the scripts. The number given to my by the nurse was not my son's number and I'm not sure where it came from. That could have been the mixup and I get that. When I called today and asked them to fill the scripts, they were short with me and acted like I was bothering them. Then when they finally found his prescriptions, they asked how I would be paying for them. I said cash. That is how I pay for things. Then I was told that because they are compounded, they need them paid for up front and they will not accept cash. This came from either the manager or pharmacist. They were rude on the phone with me. This is not the way to run a business. I know they are busy and most likely short staffed just like every other business around but there is no excuse for rudeness. I have had multiple prescriptions filled from the Medicine Shoppe and NEVER have had any issues. I pay for them when I pick them up and they are always kind and answer my questions without an attitude. Take your business somewhere else in my opinion.
