Everyone here is so friendly, and knowledgeable. I have been here three times so far for different issues with my cats, and I have had a wonderful experience every time!!

These people are the most unhelpful vets I've had to deal with. Almost everyone is one financial hiccup from being homeless and yet they won't do broken up payments and they won't give any advice over the phone regardless on how minuscule it could be. I asked what I could use to clean a small wound and they would have to look at my pet to tell me what would be safe?To have your animal looked at it costs $400. I had gone to them prior to this because my cat had some dry skin and I wanted topicals for him. They did $300 in 2 tests that both came back negative. I paid $100 for pills for dry skin allergies. My only explanation was "tis the season for allergies". If you knew it was likely allergies, why not give the pills and if they didn't help we come back for additional testing? I was still charged for the useless tests. If all I was going to get from this exchange was pills why the hell am I paying for these ridiculously expensive tests?I had behavioral concerns about my cat and for $400 I should have been taken seriously and given advice. I'm expressing concerns and it felt like I was talking to a wall. I got handed a packet on identifying the emotions/causes behind the behavior that I had already researched myself prior. I needed advice, I needed help and I got a print out sheet on body language. I have a cat that switches moods like that. He can be so calm, social and cuddly and then suddenly he takes off and climbs my walls leaving gaping scratches in the dry wall. I have spent hundreds on toys and scratch posts he has no interest in. He ruins my clothes and furniture for fun and play and he has to be separated from other cats because he is too aggressive. I have concerns about getting puncture wounds every time I clean his food bowls or do his litter box and I got a printout on body language in cats. I kept asking questions and the vet could not be any less interested in anything I was worried about. God forbid they provide any advice over the phone, and this was the "help" I got in store for $400. This isn't a health facility. this is a business. Health or wellbeing hasn't felt like the concern within the last year I've been here and that's really disappointing because I really felt like the staff cared when I started going there. We would have friendly exchanges about each other's pets and now I'm researching new clinics. That being said I think the techs/assistants are lovely. They've always been kind and considerate and they seem like they really love and care about the work they do. I've never been dismissed by them once for any concerns I had. The head doctor and Vetco's money centralized policies are completely unreasonable in this era.Something has to give. I wasn't asking for guided open heart surgery. I asked for advice on a mild injury that could be treated at home because I couldn't afford the $400+ to go in store and waste my time with excessive testing. I would never recommend coming here for anything aside from standard vaccinations or spay/neuter treatments. There was no rhyme or reason to anything I experienced this year at this clinic. Other clinics will give advice over the phone however most only will if you had visited them at least once or are established with them. These policies and practices only serve the interests of company profit, and not the wellbeing of family pets. Unless money isn't anything you have to think twice about I would strongly recommend local clinics that operate with your pets best interests in mind.Edit: And one more thing. Many, people also commented on having the same shady experiences with prices and how condescending, judgmental and biased the head doctor is, and the responses from the company are so robotic and copy and paste. Why bother responding to any of these reviews with such pointless corporate speak? Say or do something constructive or do nothing at all. Nobody is fooled that this company actually cares about pet health and wellness.

i was able to get an appointment fast, staff was extremely kind & did not try to pressure us into any additional services, and they were so sweet with my very excited dog. their door being off the main sidewalk is also great for pets who may struggle with walking through the pet store as well!

I was not at all please with the veterinarian that seen my dog. She showed no compassion for my pet and her bedside manner was horrible, rude and unprofessional. She said my dog needed a biopsy, lab work, and x-rays. My dogs nails are long and he tries to nip when someone tries to clip them due to the painful issues he's having in his front legs. (The long nails adding to his pain.) Her solution was to have him sedated to clip his nails which they would not do because his rabies vaccine had expired and she also told me that not keeping current on his rabies vaccine was illegal. What does that even mean? I felt as though she was extremely judgmental over my financial situation yet she just kept adding more to it!She proceeded to tell me " your pet is 11 years old, the age of his life expectancy. I became speechless. WOW!The young lady that was working in the store was more compassionate and helpful than the veterinarian. She acknowledged my pet and also recommended something that would help my pet, even showed me the product. I purchased the product and she was right it has been amazing for my pet and that is way more than the veterinarian did. I wish that I knew that young lady's name because she deserves to be acknowledged for her compassion and knowledge. I will not be returning to Petco.

We had to go there to do one of the most difficult things a pet owner can do. The staff went above and beyond for our family and made something so hard a bit easier. Highly recommend and super impressed with their professionalism and compassion.

I’ve been taking my cats to Vetco for two years now and I referred Vetco to my dad. His dog, Leo, had an infection- Poor Leo kept moving his head and shaking because he was so uncomfortable due to this infection. Well because Leo was moving his head, the vet refused to test the infection…ridiculous right? Overall, my dad left Vetco with an expensive prescription for an untested infection. When I took my cats for their yearly check up, the vet complained about how my cats were hissing at her. Since they hissed at her, they did not receive a proper body examination which I paid for. The vet proceeded to complain and was extremely passive aggressive which made me super uncomfortable…I do not recommend this place for your pets. The prices used to be very affordable but they’ve increased so much which happens but the vet is the reason my animals and I are leaving. The staff is great and very friendly; I’m sad to leave but I can’t have a negative vet who complains about a moving dog and cats who hiss treat my fur babies! Thank you, next!

My dog started breaking out around his entire body and was scratching non-stop until I brought him yo Thrive and they gave me the right medicine to help my dog Oreo out. Appreciate all the vets that helped him out, thanks so much..

So disappointed to go and find their care was just as expensive as any other vet. I called a few weeks ago with a time-sensitive issue concerning my dog and the man who answered my call said he'd pass the message on and call back, but never received a call back. Had to find care for my dog elsewhere.

Do not go to this veterinarian. I brought my cat in because I had a stomach flu and my cat quit eating the same week. Before even examining her or taking her weight they told me we should do blood work, urine panel, and an X-ray which would have came out to $600.I refused and just requested symptom improvement and within a few days she was eating again. They will take advantage of your emotions to squeeze every drop out of you.
