I have been wedding planning for the last 9 months (from Michigan for a wedding in St. Louis) and I put hair and makeup on the back burner…well 3 months to the wedding and I start panicking because I don’t have anyone planned for hair and makeup!! It seemed like anyone that was anyone was already booked. Someone told me about Salon de Christe so I figured I’d give them a call. Kat Miller has just taken every one of my requests and concerns and gone above and beyond to make sure I’m 100% set for my big day. With so much going on and so many things to do, knowing that this one HUGE part of my day is good to go is such a relief.

Hello better go to West Clay because it’s closer to my home. And that’s usually where I go to see Renee. The front desk are the ones that are very Nice and caring. The mid Rivers One is kind of cold as far as people go. But the one on West Clay is not like that. I have been going to Renee the massage therapist for way over a year I think. And she really listens to you and your needs. However, the only thing that bothers me or the steps that you have to go up to get your hair done. And since recently fallen last year, I’ve had problems with my back, and I can barely go up and down the stairs. I was there this past weekend and I had on a tiny step and one of the front desk people come out and ask if I was OK. Someone upstairs had seen me fall and was concerned. I prefer West Clay over mid Rivers or Cottleville whatever it’s called. The only good thing about the mid Rivers area is there’s no stairs.

I got to the west clay location and everyone there is an absolute blessing. The girls at the front are so kind and welcoming. Madeline who is the goddess of eyebrows, is literally the best human. She is amazing.

Stylist: Felicia is an amazing hair stylist. She is friendly and gives great advice on style and care for your hair. All staff at the salon are always friendly.

Unfortunately I have to leave a 2 star review. I like my hair but the stylist left bleach on my ears and the back of my head. I didn't even notice until the next day when my ears and head started burning and my ears bright red, were swollen, and had blisters. It hurt so bad! I couldn't even lay on my left side for days. It finally healed after 6 days of putting neosporin on it.
I really hoped this would be the place I would get my hair done but I'll have to find somewhere else. Really sucks to spend almost $300 for a bad job.
I did call to tell them and they just said they were sorry and asked if I asked if I wanted to come back so they could wash it off... like what?? Obviously I took a shower and washed my hair 2x and my ears to make sure it was all off when I noticed what was happening. I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I used to have Mandi but she left. She was the best. The hard thing for me is paying $140.00 for three highlights in the top of my hair. Three pieces of foil to highlight the top of my head for $140.00. I can do it myself. Otherwise this place is very good. I just don’t want to pay so much for so little. Thank you.

My husband booked me a spa package for mother's day that included a manicure, facial, and massage. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of each service, especially for the price. The attention to detail was incredible. Claudia was very meticulous and thorough in doing my manicure. The hot paraffin oil was unreal ? Then Faith did my first facial; I didn't know what to expect but was very impressed. I wish I knew more about what products she used, but everything felt amazing. Then Brooke gave me a fantastic full body massage with incredible peppermint oil. Her hands are magic - she somehow gets all the right spots without being at all rough. I was so comfortable and cozy the whole time, and the fireplace, silky robes, and soothing music were absolutely the perfect touch. I can't wait to return!

Update: added photos of the hair color I wanted vs. the hair color I got for $330.
I have been coming here and getting all over color, I believe I always get 3N, for about a year and a half. Every spring I usually try and lighten it for the summer so I’ve had this process done before. This time around I am very disappointed in the color for the price I paid. I had my inspiration pic and I knew going in I wasn’t going to go from level 3 to platinum blonde but I at least expect to notice a difference. It looks the same as when I came in. For $330 I expect to notice a difference in my hair if I’m getting it lightened. I’ve gotten my hair lighten many times and I know it can be a lot lighter than it is.

Gabby is absolutely the best! She does my nails perfectly every time and never misses. I love that she put so much thought and care into my nails. You can tell Gabby loves what she does and really cares about her clients! Getting my nails done by Gabby feels like spending time with a friend. If you want the most beautiful and fun nails, then Gabby is your girl!

I got a shampoo and blowout by Kelly and brow wax/shaping by Ashley. Both were fabulous!! My friends and family all commented on my blowout and said how great it looked. Everyone in the salon is friendly and welcoming. The setup of the shampoo stations, stylist chairs, and Ashley's room were all great as well. Highly recommend!!

The staff is always very kind. Kelly is the best hairdresser. I've been going to see her since 2008. Never a bad color, cut or style. And she's always such an upbeat and positive person.

I have visited both locations, I just prefer the atmosphere of this location especially after the remodel. Emily McCormick is my go-to for all hair services. I get a balayage every time. since my first visit she has managed to nail every single request from color matching to blending hair extensions. Also took the time to show me how to style my hair myself. She is a great listener and very warm & welcoming personality. Thank you for helping me on my hair/life journey, Emily!
