I was able to leave my car for service which was helpful to me. I received a phone call informing me of some additional work to be done because I asked them to check out some things. They explained and I accepted. I then received a nice call telling me everything had been completed and my car was ready for pick up. On my way home I picked up my car. Everything went smoothly and I’m very pleased.

Plaza Tire highway 94 St. Charles, MO
I asked the manager Will if the vibration was from the front right CV joint.
Manager Will advised me that changing my right CV joint would stop the vibration/shaking in my front end.
The mechanic wrote down on paper that brakes were causing the vibration from worn/warped rotors.
Will did not mention that the vibration was from the brakes. He just advised me that the brakes were worn, nothing about the brakes causing vibration.
If Will advised me that the vibration was from the brakes, I would of had the front brakes changed.
Instead, I listened to him advising me that the CV joint was causing the vibration so I spent $700 to replace the CV joint and that did not stop the vibration.
Will refunded the $82 diagnostic fee.
I was very upset spending the $700 for a CV joint that did not stop the vibration.
I advised a few other people in the waiting room and they were also concerned that I was misled by the manager Will.
I asked Will if he could take 1/2 off of the labor fee for an incorrect diagnostic and he said no!
I will be posting this misleading incident to the BBB and to the Plaza web site of satisfaction ratings.
