Dr. Sullivan is SO professional! I have total faith in his ability to provide safe, comfortable, gentle care for a fair fee. He explains all the medical advice in a way we are sure to understand, and doesn't pressure us to do anything we're not sure of. I drive quite a distance to see him...because I really TRUST him.

Dr. Sullivan is great as well as the entire staff. He always treats my animals like they are the cutest thing in the world which makes the place feel really special. Costs are more than reasonable also and visits are efficient.

All of the staff have always been very helpful and friendly. This was my first actual pet visit and he is usually pretty apprehensive at the vet but he did great because they did great!

I love the team at First Capital Animal Hospital. Through first kitten check ups to end of life care, I have trusted them. Their mobile app makes it easy to schedule annual check ups, ask a non-urgent questions and allows for general tracking so all my information is in one place.Thanks team!

Hands down the best vet around! Staff is great and Dr Sullivan is amazing!! The care, love and compassion they have for our pets and our family is indescribable. They have helped our dog cross the rainbow bridge and helped save our kitty. I could go on and on about how wonderful they are. If you are looking for a vet to establish care or to take over they are the office to go with!

My one liner: Highly recommend -- best around!Full story: I lived in St. Charles a few years ago and inherited a few dogs -- LARGE dogs. Then I got a puppy (first one). She's grown and her brother is a senior. I am what you call a "frequent flyer" because of my newness to these situations and the people at First Capitol are so patient with me. Dr. Sullivan always takes time to explain things to me and is always on the side of caution when thinking about treatments (which I fully support). I've since moved to the city and we still make the drive out there to see all of these wonderful people. Thanks for everything!

Amazing place. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Treated my pup with no issues. Turns out it's not the best news, but the best possible people delivered it well and gave us med to make him better for now. I'll be changing all 3 dogs to come here from now on. They are also very affordable.

Starting taking our rescue pup here. Got 1st shots, chipped, and got 'broken' as my spouse calls it. Staff is great, and Dr's are very knowledgeable and accommodating. No complaints!

Our cat had a wound on his leg that refused to heal. We took him to another vet that put a majority of the responsibility on us to take care of him.We decided to try First Capitol and they fixed his leg in two weeks, something the other vet couldn't do in two months. I can't say how thankful I am for these guys. They really helped us and our cat. Can't recommend them enough.

They used to be my primary. The last 2 times I called to deal with an emergency they referred to an emergency clinic. I promptly told them that if they don't want to help in an emergency I'll find another primary.

Very caring and understanding staff. I had my senior familar, Dexter, evaluated, and they gave me the information I needed to help him live a comfortable end of his life at home. When it was time to say goodbye, they handled him (and me) with great care and love. The remembrance paw print was a total shocker and something I didn't realize I needed. Thank you so very much for what you do at First Capital Animal Hospital.

Dr. Sinnott (sp?) was fantastic and understanding. Friendly and helpful, we discussed what could be wrong with my dog. Other than the issue discussed, my dog couldn't be healthier! ? Thanks Doctor!
