I just paid $2,600.00 to this place and had to have a tow truck pick up my 1965 Ford Thunderbird and deliver it to my house. I am amazed at the nerve of this guy to tell me he charges $140 an hour. This was after he performed supposedly 16 hours of work. He told me that the guy that dropped it off said you have money. You have three BMW's. So, I feel that he priced gouged me because he knew I had money. I wouldn't have even flinched at $2,600.00 if my car were drivable. So, I question a man's integrity that says things like he did in our conversation. He told me he can charge what he does because he is better than a dealer. Stay away from this place.

My family has taken our vehicles to Kevin for 10 plus years. Now my friends and their friends and other companies taken their vehicles to Kevin for 10 plus years as well. I trust my wife and daughters vehicles with Kevin. There is never any gray area here. If you do not want the vehicle fixed “correctly” this is not the place for you. I literally drop my vehicles (personal and business) off to Kevin and say: “do what you would do for you car or your mothers car”. The price is ALWAYS fair and the vehicle is always fixed.

After leaving the car sit for many years in storage, I decided to resume work on my lifelong project last summer as the car itself was turning 50 years old. I had the great good fortune of being referred to Kevin at Don's Auto Service as a potential shop to consider when getting diagnostics/repairs done. The repair ultimately required carburetor replacement, along with fabrication, and tuning on various other systems. I have since been back at Kevin's door a few more times with other issues. Kevin the owner of Don's Auto Service has got to the best machanic I know. He works on everything from lawn mowers to my diesel truck. He runs an honest business. He's not like those Nate and switch tire shops out there. He will treat you right every time. He's worth anyone giving him a try.
