The prices are laughably bad, if you like paying $7 for used flip-flops from Dollar Tree or $11 for a copy of Madden 2002 this is the Goodwill for you! Otherwise stay far, far away. Whoever is managing this store knows their demographic, people with no sense of what things are actually worth. Again don’t waste your time, don’t shop here nor should you donate to the store here in Rolla. The excuses they use to “justify” their ludicrous prices and greed (ie “we provide 15,000 people with employment and education”) is just a tax deductible way for them to have educated employees which they require regardless.

I love thrifting but this is one of the worst goodwills I've ever visited in my life. I kept hoping that I just came on a bad day where the prices seemed higher than normal but nope, this is just how that store does business it would seem.
People donate these items and then you resell it, goodwill. If you have to charge $14 for a small walmart canister made in 2019 and sold by walmart at that time for $8 and some change then you don't deserve to be in business.
So I'll start off by saying that the "education" that goodwill provides is a combination of volunteers offering their time for free and tax write offs that goodwill utilizes. The out of pocket net cost is next to nil.
I'll wrap it up by saying that your "for sale" price shouldn't still be above fair market value for the item brand new, because %75 off of an item that you upcharged to x4 its normal price still isn't a good deal.
Other goodwills do better, so it isn't a corporate issue in this respect it's just this goodwill overpricing everything.

I often find things at this goodwill, BUT beware of pricing. I have picked up items with walmart tags intact and Goodwill is only a dollar, or two less and sometimes they charge more. Prices have went up significantly. Still a good store to thrift at if you know what to look for and are mindful of pricing

Way too expensive. Average item is priced about twice as much as you'd pay at the Salvation Army.

Super high prices! Went to buy my child a toy and it had two different price tags on it. The original package showed $3. The first goodwill tag said $2 and the other $6. They tried charging me $6 and said because it was “already marked” as $6 they couldn’t change it (even after I showed them the original store price on the package)! Rolla goodwill is a joke and a scam!

Each time we enter this Goodwill location, there is no doubt we will find something that we have been looking for. This last visit was no different. Thanks SO MUCH to those who generously drop off items, whether used or not, there is bound to be an opportunity for someone else who genuinely needs the item (s). And thanks to the very courteous employees that are ready to assist with any questions. I also love that Goodwill is able to compensate employers well because of their products prices. It’s a win win for all. It’s been hard for us to find the perfect jacket for my son, and where do we find it, the Goodwill! I’ve been needing an electric rice cooker. Where do we find it? The Goodwill! My son loves his new jacket, and I LOVE my NEW rice cooker. Not only was it literally new, but it works PERFECTLY! And this doesn’t include all the other goodies we obtained on this visit!I think that no matter which Goodwill one goes to, there will always be something there for everyone!

I absolutely hate shopping at Goodwill because their CEO makes six figures and their prices are just like Walmart prices sometimes even more expensive... After my last experience I will not b back

Nice and organized. This one definitely focuses on clothing. There are tons of options. Household stuff leaves a bit to be desired though.

This can't really be described as a thrift store. Walmart prices are better on the exact same items. Clothing prices aren't terrible, but still not thrift store prices. People were walking out of the store with armfuls of items because they don't actually bag any items for you. This was my first and last visit.
