βmost clean and enjoyable dollar general I've ever been to, employees are usually always nice,had an older employee laugh at me for looking for a good deal and talk down to me last I was there though.β

βMy daughter and I were overwhelmed in the best way when we first entered. Rows of spices, dry goods, candies, pastas... it was the place I've been looking for. It's so clean and inviting, too.β
βThis is a good super store. I am on the other side of the lake or I would go there more often. It has everything I can think to buy. Prices are kinda high but good is expensive these days. It also has organic items which is why I drive all the way over there.β
βI usually have been shopping at Walmart and for many reasons decided to try your curbside pickup, as I was doing at WM. Great experience and much less expensive on meat etc and it looks like good quality, unlike wm and they came out right away and packed well in paper bags, which I liked and my only complaint is I wish you had a better selection on many items. As long as my next experience goes like this did, you will now have our business weekly and wm lost ours and it is usually a lot. Keep up the good work.β
βPrime location; right in the middle of the Ozarks! I ran into the Brother's Dyke here, who are renowned as local celebrities. DG came in clutch again. Everyone should come to the Ozarks just to visit this place! Manager was nice and helped my friend and I find our 24 pack of Leinenkugel Summer Shandy.β

βLittle grocery store. Good if you have to get a couple dinner ingredients or you're on the way home and you remember you're it of milk. I like it that there is a place I can go to pick up a few things but don't have to walk 3 miles like I do if I stop at most stores in more metropolitan areas.
I just hate it that everything causes so early around here. Even at the lake, that caters to lots of late nite party people during summer season, everything closes down as if people are afraid of being out after dark because they've heard it makes them more likely to be the victims of vampire gangs.
Why do we seem to be at the mercy of a mandate agreed upon by a unknown group of possibly very elderly schedule influencers who agree during secret meetings that everyone must be on a "8-5, M-F or too effin' bad " work/living schedule around here? We're long since back to pre-pandemic work schedules, so why are we unable to resume life in a way that better accommodates everyone?β
βLots of food options. Lots of cooked food including breakfast. They have fresh made sandwiches you can order. There is even a laundry mat if you need. Lots of liquor too. There have 25 cent self serve air also. I was hoping to get a long john donut but they just had only glazed donuts.β
βGood stop for miscellaneous items your grocery store might be out of. Last trip I bought a nice stand up paper towel holder, paper towels, birthday candles, plates, forks, balloons, etc.β
βThey really proud of their milk and eggs. Customer service excellent. It's expensive. I ordered a birthday cake from here. It was pretty; but didn't taste very good. The cakes in the freezer are really good. Produce is overpriced. The best part of this store is discount meats. Just an overpriced tourist grocery catering to people enjoying the lake. Which is fine.β
βWoods in Sunrise Beach has a great selection of alcohol. I was excited to see the fresh Sushi also. Their little restaurant is nice too. Unfortunately, I do not like their baked good.β

βStopped in 7.3.24 for BBQ wings for the pizza we ordered at the Casey's near by. I didn't catch the workers name who helped me reach them because the tyson BBQ wings were on a top shelf and pushed back enough I couldn't reach. Thank you for your help sir! Also, thank you to my cashier Lisa for such a positive interaction. You are just wonderful! This store definitely has some really good associates. I normally see an older gentleman but he was there today. He's recommended some good snacks! Lol. Definitely will be back.β
βNormally I donβt complain or write reviews but the food in the deli needs to be better for the prices they ask. A lot of the times I go in there the chicken tenders that are prepared are pretty bland and flavorless, the chicken wings are usually very dry and flavorless. The pulled pork is usually pretty good but itβs way too sweet to enjoy by itself. And the brisket they serve just isnβt ever cooked or prepared right, itβs usually always tough, dry and way too chewy. Not to mention flavorless, and way too much fat content. Every slice is 80% fat and 20% meat. With absolutely no smoke flavor. The store itself is really nice with a lot of variety of everything, store is always nicely kept, clean and the stockers and people working on checkout are always super nice and helpful.β
βHave been coming here for years, I love having the store so close by. The store is always super clean and organized, easy to find what youre looking for and youd be suprised what you can find here. The pizza and sandwhiches are delicious too.β
βBeth was super helpful and so sweet. I needed a certain type of water for my baby that said was in stock but not on the shelfs. She went to the back to look for them and when she couldn't find it even recruited others to help. When they couldn't find it apologized and gave me other options which is so sweet. But what made her go above and beyond is she saw me the next day on the other side of the store and knew the item and how many I needed and personally made sure I got it. She was just a absolute doll and made my days. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Beth!β
βLove Shopping at a smaller store. The employees recognize me and my service dog when we come in. They have a great selection of $1.00 items! Everything from dog food to car stuff. Thank you DG!!β

βI recently switched to Evans in Sunrise within the last year and am very happy with the crew here! Specifically today, the pharmacist on duty called the doctor and was on hold for half an hour just to make sure my daughter had a med to take today! Thank you! All of the staff has always been customer friendlyβ
βHad some trouble with the fitting rooms. The person in charge went on Lunch. I waited a while. Around 20 minutes. But then I found another emplyee named Tammy. She was very sweet, and helped us find someone all while helping another customer and stocking shelves. Completely changed my mood after the frustration. Thank you for going above and beyond!β
βI was in need of a shipping box that would accommodate a roll of wallpaper and needed a lengthy cylinder type box. I explained to the rep at the photo section, Betty, what I needed and asked if they sold those types of boxes. She confirmed they did not. However, she asked me to hold on for a second and she went to the back.....only to come back with a fishing rod box that was absolutely perfect for my shipment. (Keep in mind, I didn't need a new box.) She went above and beyond. Most employees would say they were sorry and move on but she took the time and effort to help me! This type of employee is rare! βIt's one of my go to grocery store. They have excellent produce and there's a 2 for $5 sales in produce. I was approached by an employee asking if I was finding what I was looking for, it was nice, I felt important to them to be so concerned.β
