Can't possibly take a week to remodel a store while the one I Springfield by the airport stayed OPEN and it was being remodeled..... Took only 3 days. Company works their employees to death but it's ok to have an entire store closed for a week.

After they fired that manager, the store went straight back to being a complete mess! Very disappointed in this dollar general! It was the only decent one around and it has gone down hill in less than a week!

Store is always cluttered. Staff is tolerable. Self check out is horrible.

As I said in a previous review. McDonalds has slid downhill since the pandemic. Their normal training has worked well for indoor and outdoor (drive thru) service. However, now that they are burdened with providing drive thru only their staff seems to have changed. Their wait times are longer, orders are way more often incorrect and their window workers seem so much more indifferent to the customers now. Breakfast is now at the discression of the person at the window, and some stores have even cut off the sale of iced coffees at times. This is not a storewide issue. It appears to be company wide. At least along the I-44 corridor in Missouri. More training is in order.

It has everything you'd expect from Dollar General. Pre-2020, I wouldn't have had a single problem. Things are different now though. Walking into the store, you're greeted with a big sign that lets you know that wearing a mask is required. There's also another sign taped to the big plastic sneeze guard at the register letting you know the same thing. The cashier though, and other employees are not wearing masks. When asked about it, cashier claims that masks are optional. Why post the signs and the sneeze guard if it's optional? It's not like we're in the middle of a pandemic or anything. What's the point of having rules that are not enforced?

This store had only 3 people working at a time, and took 20 minutes to checkout. Employees were hateful, shelves not stocked,,, all in all not good

Small store great product
