My wife and I checked in at Big Cedar Wilderness Timeshares. Check in was friendly and easy. But then they said we had to go to VIP customer service to get our parking pass. The guy behind the counter asked us if we were interested in doing the timeshare tour the next day and offered us $200 Mastercards as a gift. Then he asked us if we were single ladies. We said no and that we were married. He said, “Nevermind, you’re not qualified for the tour.” Then he threw our wrist bands and parking pass across the counter and said, “Bye.” It was honestly hurtful and confusing.

We went in for our preview thinking "no way, we are not buying a timeshare." and walked out after buying said timeshare! The people that work there are amazing at working with you on price and how to best fit it in your budget! Also, amazing presentation that accurately described this timeshare and how it is wayyyy different than other timeshares! I'm very excited and proud to be a Bluegreen Timeshare Owner!

LOVE Big Cedar. The timeshare sales pitch was horrible. (blue green) if you want a timeshare. Checkout eBay. People give them away. It took way longer than they promised. The people were ridiculous.

This is an outstanding resort for families and individuals of all ages. This visit I reserved the 3 bedroom Presidential, which is definitively superb, but I have stayed in the lodge and also one bedroom cabins with equal satisfaction. I have decided that my Fall and Winter stays are much better than Summers, because of the congestion and business of nearly every activity and restaurant because of families vacationing one last time before school starts. Yep, I recommend this Wilderness at Big Cedar , decorated by BassPro's Johnny M

The resort is beautiful, but if the time share deal is so great, why offer it only once & that's it.

Don't ever buy a timeshare from these guys. Deceptive about when you can get times at the resort. It's impossible to get the dates you want. Their website is crap and Choice hotels conversions are junk. They say you just need to call and get on the waiting list, but you never get what you are looking for. And if you do upgrade your maintenance fees just go up and up. They alway have an answer to your questions but it's all lies. Their response is buy more points, which is what they'll lure you in to do again and again. Such a scam, with high pressure and tag team used car salesman tactics. You'll never get a chance to talk to your original salesperson to clear up any confusion, they magically are unable. Scum of the earth these people, and shame on Johnny Morris to prey on good, hardworking Americans.

To start off, I am not a timeshare owner and I don't ever think being one is a smart choice. I rented someone else's time share for a couple of nights. The wilderness club registration is right next to the lazy river, an indoor pool, hot tub and splash pad. There is a cappuccino maker open until noon daily in this building. We've stayed here twice. The room is very clean, and spacious. The only thing I don't love about the room is that there are always skunks that come out after dark. The amenities are amazing. Most parts of big cedar lodge are open to wilderness club guests. There is putt putt, pickle ball court, playgrounds, paddle boats, a lake beach area, and other attractions. Sunday evening they had an amazing Memorial Day weekend fireworks show as well. For added fees there is tons to do as well. We decided our splurge would be to rent a jet ski for an hour. The marina staff are all very kind. We had such a fun vacation and plan to be back( though we won't ever buy the time share!)

My aunt and uncle invited me to visit here. They like here a lot and visit often. It's definitely not my decor taste, but the place is clean and fairly well maintained. The place lacks cups in the bathroom and facial wipes The restroom was unnecessarily large . Parking is tight. Be prepared for dings. The resort wants to to wear wrist bands while you're. No thanks I'm not in the hospital. The pools look amazing and great for kids

Time shares can be a good option, but make sure you think it through before buying into it. And it’s not for everyone. We sat through the presentation and Bluegreen is better than most other Timeshares, you get 12,000 points a year that you can use at a lot of resorts/ hotel. The average night is around 500 points depending on during the week or on the weekend which is more. You still have to still pay the yearly maintenance fee which is around $1400 a year.

This was a timeshare visit. I did not know what a timeshare was at the time but was assured it was a 3-day getaway for a special price, I just didn't know. She said a special promotional. The young lady who sold the preview said we would be on the resort, No!! We were put up in a hotel that did not meet our expectations even though they were very kind. The salesman also was outstanding, nevertheless it left a bad taste because I felt deceived. The property is amazing, if you can afford it.
