Very pleasant staff and Dr. Harris is very helpful, and knowledgeable. I drive from Independence and you can't beat the cost of Pet care anywhere else!

Called for an emergency and was greeted with a very rude uncompassionate man whom I woke up and he let me know he was not happy about it. I was already crying because I'm worried about my dog. Don't answer if you're gonna just be hateful. Will never go here again.

I have been taking my animals to this vets office for almost 30 years. She is always professional and caring. My animals are always treated with respect. I will continue to be a loyal customer!

The worst vet I've ever seen.. my dog had a major problem with his teeth and mouth. Took over two weeks to get in, and she never even touched him, just said she can't help him and wanted to put him down.

Very disrespectful to me and my dog took my dog in for allergies was told it was just because of all the fireworks even after I told her it's been going on before the 4th of July she just gave me cream to clear her eyes then when showing me how to put it on her eye lids she sticks her finger in my dogs eye then when she almost got bit because of her putting her finger in my dogs eye she threatened to put her down for something she caused to happen definitely do not recommend using her for your pets my current vet vintage plaza Veterinarian hospital took the time and treated her properly even though she no longer trust vets and has to be muzzled now because of what vet Harris did to her

The absolute worst! My neighbors' cat suffered a major injury and lingered for a week or two. On the last day of her life, my neighbors called in around noon because it was clear she was in critical condition. Ray County Animal Hospital refused to see her. The kids called back a few hours later as it was obvious the cat was in pain and dying. Again, they were too busy to see them. The poor cat died after a long day of suffering, suffering that could have been avoided if RCAH would have taken two minutes out of their day and put her down. I have worked for veterinarians in the past and this was shockingly abhorrent behavior. Vets are suppose to triage their patients. Apparently this does not happen at Ray County Animal Hospital. They are perfectly fine in letting animals suffer as long as their schedule is not interrupted and they can continue to make money. I have NEVER run across a more heartless vet's office in my life. I am new to the area and certainly will NOT be taking my animals here. I will also make sure others steer clear of these cruel, uncaring, unethical money- grubbers. Shame on you all.

I've used Cathy for years. She is always worth the 45 minute drive for me. You can tell she really loves her profession. She's great with all animals.

I LOVE this vet (Kathy) and her staff. I had to have two elderly dogs put down a year a go, one, to cancer, the other, to old age and a level 5 heart murmur, that, in just a few short weeks, greatly impacted his quality of life. Both were 15.... Kathy and her staff, gave us the time to grieve, love and hug on them as they passed to the Rainbow Bridge... I have a 3rd elderly dog (16), who I have also regularly taken to Kathy. Our last visit wasn't good (and I knew it wouldn't be...not because of them but because I knew my dogs time was coming to an end). My dog had a large lump on her hind right hip and due to her age, I was realistic about the possibility of removing it. She checked her heart and said that she had congestive heart failure, along with her tumor/growth and recommended I take her home and make every day, Pyper day, until she either passed on her own or I knew it was time. Well, it's time....Pyper has been spoiled with the things she loves most over these past few weeks....massages, her favorite foods, and thankfully, pain medication for palliative care, until it was time. I'm very sad as I right this, as I am making an appointment to have her put down but am so grateful to Kathy, for telling me to give my dog the best of everything the last few weeks and have her enjoy every moment. Thank you...and I thank your staff. God bless
